FACT CHECK: Has Klaus Schwab Been Arrested?

Whenever we speak of Klaus Schwab, one thing is surely true:  he’s a creep.

A massive creep.

He gives off that evil dictator vibe, like he should be in an Austin Powers movie living in a volcano kind of vibe.

But has he been arrested?

That’s what the Conservative Beaver website has reported and they’re making a name for themselves by reporting absolutely absurd news.

It’s also a good way to lose the trust of your readers and go out of business real fast.

But hey, it gets eyeballs for a few seconds and 15 minutes of fame, eh Beaver?

That is NOT how we operate here at WeLoveTrump.

Our mission since we started in 2015 is simple: investigate and report the truth.

And sometimes that means reporting something even if it’s the opposite of what we WANT to be true.

So who is Klaus Schwab anyway?

Well, he runs the World Economic Forum, an unelected group of globalists trying to rule your life.

And he recently famously said in 2030 you will “own nothing and be happy about it.”

Not me Klaus.

As I said, major creep.

But has he been arrested like these reports claim?

Sadly, there is no evidence to support the claim he has been arrested.

As usual, the writing from the Conservative Beaver is very poor and does not make any logical sense if you really think about it:

Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF), has been arrested at his home in Cologny, Switzerland Friday and charged for multiple counts of fraud. A police source states that he was arrested on request of Europol in relation to crimes he allegedly committed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Klaus Schwab is currently in custody. His lawyer was not immediately available for comment.

According to Wikipedia: the WEF is mostly known for its annual meeting at the end of January in Davos, a mountain resort in Graubünden, in the eastern Alps region of Switzerland. The meeting brings together some 3,000 paying members and selected participants – among which are business leaders, political leaders, economists, celebrities and journalists – for up to five days to discuss global issues across 500 sessions.

According to the AP: The elite gathering typically draws hundreds of well-known government leaders, business executives, civil society advocates and artists, actors and musicians. However, Fox News commentator Laura Ingraham warned Fox News viewers in 2020 the meetings were centered around a globalist plan to “transform civil society.”

First of all Beaver, fraud is typically a civil charge and you don't get arrested by "Europol".

Even Reuters fact-checked the Beaver and for once I have to agree that a MSM fact-check actually makes sense and is correct:

Online claims that Klaus Schwab, executive chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), has been arrested in Switzerland are false, authorities have told Reuters.

Early appearances of the claim can be traced back to Nov. 12 on The Conservative Beaver (here), a Canadian website previously fact-checked by Reuters (here). It has since been repeated on messaging boards, Facebook (here), Twitter (here), and multiple other websites (here , here).

According to the initial article, Swiss police arrested Schwab at his home in Cologny on Nov. 12 following a complaint from Europol, the European Union’s law enforcement agency – and he was later charged with “multiple counts of fraud”.

However, spokespersons for both Switzerland’s federal police department and Europol told Reuters that these claims are not true.

Moreover, Europol highlighted that such a case – if it existed – would fall outside the agency’s mandate.

As the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (EUROPOL), its role is to support EU Member States in their own investigations into organised crime.

Switzerland is not a member of the EU.

VERDICT
False. Swiss police have not arrested Klaus Schwab, nor has Europol made any such complaint.

Sorry Beaver, back to the shallow end.

Leave the news reporting to actual news outlets or rebrand yourself as a satire site.

But even if the Conservative Beaver sucks, it doesn't mean Schwab is a good guy.

Have I mentioned he's a massive creep?

Even far-left Russell Brand has taken a sledgehammer to Klaus Schwab, watch this:
