According to Mike himself, he had to take out a $10 million loan to keep MyPillow afloat as he fights all the election fraud lawsuits.

Right-wing extremist and MyPillow CEO, Mike Lindell, said during an interview with former President Donald Trump strategist, Steve Bannon, his successful company is in debt thanks to “voting machine companies.”

Bannon and Lindell have both “repeatedly pushed Trump’s baseless claims that the 2020 election was ‘stolen’ through an unprecedented, nationwide voter fraud conspiracy” — one Fox News has admitted was false.

Former federal prosecutor and Republican Ron Filipkowski shared a clip from the interview via Twitter, writing, “Mike Lindell reveals that MyPillow is going broke because of his battle to prove Trump won, and he had to borrow $10 million to keep things going.”

Bannon asked the multi-millionaire, “The loan you took out at MyPillow — people were all over you about this?”

Lindell replied, “Yeah, last year, actually there were three separate loans, as the machine companies continue to sue us for billions of dollars.”

The CEO continued, “we had to borrow almost $10 million dollars. We’re an employee-owned company.

It just baffles me, Steve, you’ve got all these machine companies — these voting machine companies, that nobody even knew their name before, but everybody protects them. And yet you attack a USA company, MyPillow, and my employees, and it’s just disgusting.”

Mike Lindell, the CEO of MyPillow, says he had to borrow $10 million in 2022 just to keep his pillow company afloat.

Speaking to Insider on Wednesday night, Lindell said that to keep MyPillow going, he borrowed “about 4 million in May, 2 million in the summer, and 4 million in September.”

And on top of that, Lindell said he’s personally been borrowing money to stay liquid, too.

“I sold a building I had in Savage, in Minnesota, in October,” Lindell told Insider. “And I had to borrow 2 million too. I’ve spent it all on fighting for this country.”

Lindell told Insider that some creature comforts — like his private jet, which had a door come off it in October — haven’t been sold yet.

“I have to get around, you know,” Lindell said.

Lindell declined to reveal who loaned him the money but told Insider that a majority of the borrowed cash had gone to defending MyPillow against the lawsuits filed against the company. One of the major ongoing lawsuits is a $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit from Dominion Voting Systems, which cites both MyPillow and its owner, Lindell, in the case.

Dominion sued Lindell in February 2021, alleging that the pillow mogul defamed it by falsely claiming Dominion helped rig the 2020 election. Lindell is countersuing Dominion for $1.6 billion.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell announced Monday he is “100% running” to be chair of the Republican National Committee, a position now held by Ronna McDaniel.

Lindell went public with the expected decision during Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast.

“With all my due diligence and in prayer, I am 100% running for RNC chairman against Ronna McDaniel,” Lindell said.

“I didn’t hear one negative from donors, from heads of state,” he added.

“Not only am I going to win, it’s going to change real fast,” he said about the RNC. “We’re going to get our country right, really quick.”

Lindell later told Business Insider his first priority is to call all 168 members of the RNC to find out what the biggest problem is with the organization.

McDaniel has already been endorsed by a majority of the RNC’s voting members — 101 in total — who signed on to a letter endorsing her re-election, The Hill has reported.

Lindell has been open about his interest in the job, telling National File that Republicans “need someone who knows how to run a business to lead one of the most important organizations in our country.”

Best known as the CEO of MyPillow, Mike Lindell says one of the nation’s largest banks is moving to dump the nine businesses and charities he has founded in the wake of his success with MyPillow.

Among them are the social media sites FrankSpeech.com and Lindell TV, and the Lindell Recovery Network, which helps people overcome addictions, Lindell said in an interview Friday with Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast.”

Bannon played a recording of a telephone call between a top executive at Minnesota Bank & Trust and Lindell’s controller.

The executive asked in the call why the bank, a subsidiary of Heartland Financial, is associated with “someone who could be in the news.”

“Not that the FBI is even sniffing and looking, but what if somebody came and said, ‘Do you know what? We are going to subpoena all of his account records, and this and that. And then all of a sudden we make the news,” the executive said.

“So it’s more of a reputation risk,” he said.

Lindell, after his controller informed him of the bank’s intentions, tried to call CEO Stephen Bishop but was put on hold for an hour. He called back and was put on hold for another 45 minutes.

“They’re telling us you need to leave our bank,” Lindell told Bannon. “They said they want FrankSpeech gone … in a week, and they want all the rest gone in 30 days.

“I said, I am not … leaving, so you’re going to have to throw me out of your bank.”

Lindell noted that such canceling hasn’t worked out well for Bed, Bath, and Beyond, having closed 37 stores since canceling his products.

To be clear, that means that a) a hard-working entrepreneur was denied access to financial services because of his political views and b) that an American bank is so fearful of the FBI that it’s willing to toss a major customer, one it knows can call upon his allies in the media and influencer space for help and visibility, out into the cold. Both of those facts point to a dark future.

In any case, Lindell says that immediately after his controller told him that the bank was trying to cancel him, he tried to call the bank’s CEO, Stephen Bishop. However, despite being a major customer (just think how much business MyPillow does), the bank put him on hold for an hour. He then tried calling back but was put on hold yet again, this time for another 45 minutes.

Despite that, Lindell remained defiant, saying that while the bank wants the Frank Speech account gone within a week and the rest in thirty days, he said “I am not … leaving, so you’re going to have to throw me out of your bank.”

Lindell likely has good reasons to be optimistic. While finding another bank, one willing to do business with him, will be a pain and likely cause a significant headache for his thriving business, he’s survived cancellation before.
