Rep. Josh Hawley Pens Hilarious Letter To Xi Jinping

The House recently passed the Covid Origin Act 419-0.

Josh Hawley, who originally sponsored the legislation, claims that CCP officials and Beijing have been pressuring him to drop the probe into the origins of Covid-19.

In response, he penned Xi Jinping this hilarious letter:

At this point, it is unclear whether he actually sent the letter or is simply posting it online to make a statement—either way, the government of China should get the message.

Conservatives, media pundits, and Republican policymakers celebrated the recent passage of the Covid Origin Act, all that is left now is for Joe Biden to sign it:

CBS News had more on the historic bill:

“Now the American people will be able to see what their government knows about COVID origins — and those who lied about it can be held accountable,” Hawley tweeted after the bill passed Friday. “Next stop for my COVID origins bill, Joe Biden’s desk. Sign it.”

Democrats also expressed support for releasing information related to origins of the leak, as evidenced by their lack of objections in the House and Senate.

The Epoch Times writes:

The various theories put forward by natural origin proponents have all fallen apart at the slightest scrutiny. The wet market theory collapsed early on when even the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) rejected it.

The pangolin theory, by which the COVID-19 virus is supposed to have been passed along by pangolins, as an intermediate host, similarly fell apart when a Chinese newspaper withdrew its claim that scientists had found a close match for COVID-19 in pangolins.

The only evidence that is left is that natural origin has happened before, specifically with the original SARS virus and with MERS.

However, even that argument does not withstand scrutiny because, unlike the COVID-19 virus, those viruses were not pre-adapted for human transmission, and because there have been far more lab leaks than zoonotic events.

The original SARS has escaped from laboratories at least six times.
