This is a long overdue, yet welcome piece of news.
Today, the House of Representatives unanimously voted for a Covid origins bill that would force the Director of National Intelligence to release all information regarding the origins of Covid-19.
All that is left now is for Joe Biden to sign the bill. …
If he signs it then it will be a win for transparency and all of us on the right side of history. …
If he doesn’t sign it—and part of me wants him not to—it will be a damning indictment and will tell us all that we have ever needed to know.

The Hill confirmed:
The legislation, titled the COVID-19 Origin Act, passed in a 419-0 vote, just over a week after the Senate approved the bill by unanimous consent. Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) sponsored the measure.
The White House has not indicated whether Biden will sign the measure.
Asked on Wednesday if the president had made a decision on the bill, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre referred reporters to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).

CNBC explains:
The effort by Congress to declassify intelligence on the origins of Covid comes after the Energy Department concluded with “low confidence” that the virus most likely escaped from a lab in Wuhan as the result of an accident.
The Energy Department is one of 18 agencies that make up the U.S. intelligence community. The department was previously undecided on how the virus emerged.
