The internet is ablaze with speculation that dates back to the 2014 SCOTUS leak…
Liberal outlets and pundits seem to be having a field day, suggesting that Justice Samuel Alito was responsible for the 2014 Hobby Lobby decision leak.
These reports are currently unverified and they may just represent misdirection by the media establishment or an attempt to stir the pot.
However, we have to read the subtexts here. I don’t think the main takeaway is the incessant finger-pointing or the spread of propaganda.
The main point here is that 8 years later we are still discussing the leak of a SCOTUS decision, with nothing but conjecture, wild speculation, and dubious accusations at best.
What makes us think the more recent SCOTUS leak will be any different? Will we ever truly get any answers or get to the bottom of this? Will we still be wondering about this 8, 9, or 10 years in the future?
Leftists all echoed these sentiments:
The Supreme Court has no ethics code.
Thus their statement that Justice Alito committed no ethical violation is 100% meaningless.

64 groups call on Senate Committee on the Judiciary to launch an investigation into whistleblower claims involving Sam Alito and a leaked opinion, saying allegations against Justice Alito are 'an urgent reminder of the critical need for Supreme Court ethics reform.'

According to Washington Examiner, SCOTUS has denied the role of Justice Alito in the 2014 leak:
“There is nothing to suggest that Justice Alito’s actions violated ethics standards. Relevant rules balance preventing gifts that might undermine public confidence in the judiciary and allowing judges to maintain normal personal friendships,” wrote Ethan Torrey, an attorney for the court.
The allegation was levied by the Rev. Rob Schenck, a former anti-abortion activist and founder of a group called Faith and Action who later changed his position away from opposing abortion access to contending such procedures are up to “an individual and his or her conscience.”

The Hill provided more coverage on the leftist backlash:
More than 60 progressive groups wrote to two top Senate Democrats on Tuesday urging them to investigate ethical concerns about Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito following a recent report that he shared the outcome of a looming 2014 case involving the Hobby Lobby with a conservative activist.
