I know many of you may not know this (I didn’t) but the Emmys were held recently.
I know…who knew?
Almost no one watched.
But I guess if a tree falls in the woods and makes no sound, it still happened.
But something interesting DID happen at the Emmys that I want to cover.
Jimmy Kimmel did a bit that was ill-conceived and not really funny, but liberals lost their mind and claimed he was using his “White Privilege” to overshadow a black woman who won an Emmy.
Total meltdown mode from Libs.
And hilarious because they’re now eating their own.
They’re now so enraged about everything they’re even turning on their own people — and comedians, no less!
And here’s where I might shock you: I’m not piling on.
I don’t agree with Cancel Culture when it’s aimed at Conservatives and I don’t agree with it anymore when it’s aimed at Jimmy Kimmel.
So Jimmy, I still don’t find you even remotely funny, but I’ve got your back on this one.

Following fierce backlash, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has apologized to Quinta Brunson for interrupting her Emmy speech with a “dumb” stunt — which got him accused of exercising “white privilege” by social media critics. The comedian issued his mea culpa during Brunson’s appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Wednesday.
“Congratulations on your Emmy. I missed it, how did it go?” Kimmel, 54, quipped while welcoming the “Abbott Elementary” writer to the show. “That was a dumb comedy bit that we thought would be funny. I lost and then I drank too much and then got dragged out on the stage.”
The former “Man Show” host was referring to the now-infamous incident in which presenter Will Arnett dragged Kimmel by his feet onto the stage as part of a skit before announcing the winner for Best Writing in a Comedy Series at the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.
Arnett, 52, had joked that “Jimmy couldn’t be here tonight” because he had too many “skinny margaritas” after losing the Emmy for his late-night series for the “13th time in a row.”
When Arnett announced that Brunson had won the Emmy for her ABC series “Abbott Elementary,” Kimmel shockingly remained on his back in front of the microphone for the duration of her speech.
This resulted in fierce backlash on social media, with many critics accusing the entertainer of epitomizing “white privilege” by ruining a black woman’s Emmy moment. The “disrespectful” stunt even earned Kimmel a tongue-lashing backstage by “Abbott Elementary” star Sheryl Lee Ralph.
The “Real O’Neals” star appeared to regret his award show antics.
“People got upset and said I stole your moment,” Kimmel told Brunson on the latest episode of his show. “Maybe I did and I’m very sorry if I did do that.”
He continued, “I’m sorry I did do that actually and also the last thing I would ever want to do is upset you because I think so much of you. I hope you know that.”
Fortunately Brunson, who had previously stated that she didn’t mind the skit, accepted his apology, stating: “Well, Jimmy, let me just say thank you. It is very kind of you to say that.”

After driving the Emmy ratings to record-low ratings in 2020 (he did the same for the Academy Awards) (he did the same for his own late-night show), Kimmel was not asked to host this year. But he was on hand for a skit that’s blowing up in his dumb, woketard face.
The skit involved Will Arnett dragging Kimmel by his feet onto the Emmy stage. The gag was that after losing the “Emmy for his late-night series for the 13th time in a row,” Kimmel was too drunk to present the Emmy for Best Writing in a Comedy Series. So, while Arnett did the particulars, Kimmel remained on his back, pretending to be unconscious.
So far, so good.
Except.
After star and creator Quinta Brunson won the Emmy for writing Abbott Elementary, Kimmel stayed put. Throughout her entire speech, he lay there stealing her spotlight.
You don’t do that. You present. You get out of the way. The spotlight no longer belongs to you. You hand the spotlight to the winner. That’s what gracious people do. That’s what they have always done. Kimmel had plenty of time to pick himself up off-camera as viewers watched Brunson react to her win and make her way to the stage. Arnett could have also dragged him offstage to cap the joke.
So now, because he is a white man and Brunson is a black woman, Jimmy Kimmel is getting a sweet taste of the Woke Terror he enables and feeds.
