This is essentially what Rep. Jim Jordan told the media and the nation following the clearly political raids on Mar-A-Lago.

Alan Dershowitz recently voiced a similar sentiment by explaining that this raid likely strengthened support for President Trump and completely shot out the credibility from under the federal agencies.
Are we witnessing the beginning of the end for the F.B.I?
Perhaps we are, as I have said before, it is an agency of degenerates started by a degenerate, so here’s to hoping that the environment becomes completely inhospitable to that species of bureaucrat very, very soon.

“I think the reason they come to us is they know they can trust us and we will work with them,” Jordan added. “But when they come to us in the minority, all we can really do is begin to tell their story.
We can’t subpoena. We can’t do the things that you can typically obviously do in the majority, but yet they’re still willing to come forward, which I think underscores how political that place has become.”
