Top Rank Disney Exec Changes Sides!


You know what they say, folks, you go woke, you go broke…

It’s no secret that Disney has seen plummeting share prices due to their woke messaging and increasingly politicized nature; are they a company for children’s entertainment, or a tool for sociopolitical indoctrination?

People are fed up and rightly so.

Yesterday, we saw yet another nail that may eventually seal the company’s coffin—at least until they reverse the policies that have essentially alienated themselves from 50% or more of the country.

Eric Caballero, Disney’s former vice president for media distribution, will be joining the Daily Wire as their new CMO.

Among other projects, Caballero will lead marketing for The Daily Wire+, the company’s streaming platform.

While it includes politically focused content from The Daily Wire as well as some other conservative programming, the company is moving further into entertainment, committing $100 million to produce kids and family fare, and expanding into original movies (including a Gina Carano-led offering called Terror on the Prairie).

Western Journal provided this quote from Daily Wire co- C.E.O. Jeremy Boreing:

“After announcing our investment into kids’ entertainment, I have been fielding calls left and right from high-level talent at some of the biggest entertainment companies in the world who are seeking opportunities to come and work with us.
