Bill DeBlasio may be the most incompetent mayor in the entire United States…
Living costs in New York City are through the roof, and while the robust public transportation may be the best in the world, I don’t see New York City’s beleaguered tax payers getting any bang for their buck.
People have been fleeing the state and the city for some time now, but this has not stopped him from levying new taxes, fines, and draconian Covid-19 regulations—all of which are contributing to the blue state exodus.
DeBlasio doubled down on his failed policies and tyrannical rhetoric by announcing an expansion of an already unlawful mandate.
On Monday, DeBlasio announced that he will be requiring all NYC private employers to act as his health police by enforcing his vaccine mandate on their employees.

NYC is a global leader when it comes to #COVID19 recovery. We've proven that with vaccine mandates and incentives, we can beat this virus.
Now we're taking another step towards the future — a private sector employee vaccine mandate. Together we can save lives and move forward. https://t.co/SjxNUla4oJ

The New York Post had more on the newly expanded mandates:
De Blasio, whose mayoralty ends at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve, declared making vaccines compulsory for private businesses a “preemptive strike” against an expected surge in COVID infections this winter amid the emergence of the Omicron variant.
“We’re going to announce a first-in-the-nation measure,” de Blasio said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” Hizzoner added that the mandate is aimed at “maximizing vaccination quickly, so we can get ahead of Omicron and all the other challenges we’re facing right now.”
There is zero real enforcement of the vaccine mandate in NYC.
The city isn't really issuing fines as they know any real lawsuit or pushback would kill the mandate.
The mandate exists through compliance alone.
Do not comply.

Q: How can he enforce this on businesses that operate without licenses from #nyc?
A: He can’t. Don’t open the door for the deblasio health police. You don’t need a vax to work in most private sector jobs in New York City. The court will tell us this, too. https://t.co/aNWSLxhGVz

Mayor de Blasio will impose a first-in-the-nation vaccine mandate for all PRIVATE sector workers in NYC.
Bill de Blasio isn't a mayor, he is a tyrant.

PIX 11 adds:
The vaccine mandate will apply to about 184,000 businesses, according to the mayor’s office. It is set to go into effect on Dec. 27, just days before mayor-elect Eric Adams takes office.
Between this new mandate and the prior mandate for all city workers, just about anyone who works in New York City will be mandated to get the shot in order to go to work.
