WATCH: NYC EXPANDS Vaccine Mandate

Bill DeBlasio may be the most incompetent mayor in the entire United States…

Living costs in New York City are through the roof, and while the robust public transportation may be the best in the world, I don’t see New York City’s beleaguered tax payers getting any bang for their buck.

People have been fleeing the state and the city for some time now, but this has not stopped him from levying new taxes, fines, and draconian Covid-19 regulations—all of which are contributing to the blue state exodus.

DeBlasio doubled down on his failed policies and tyrannical rhetoric by announcing an expansion of an already unlawful mandate.

On Monday, DeBlasio announced that he will be requiring all NYC private employers to act as his health police by enforcing his vaccine mandate on their employees.

Here’s what we currently know:

The New York Post had more on the newly expanded mandates:

De Blasio, whose mayoralty ends at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve, declared making vaccines compulsory for private businesses a “preemptive strike” against an expected surge in COVID infections this winter amid the emergence of the Omicron variant.

“We’re going to announce a first-in-the-nation measure,” de Blasio said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” Hizzoner added that the mandate is aimed at “maximizing vaccination quickly, so we can get ahead of Omicron and all the other challenges we’re facing right now.”

PIX 11 adds:

The vaccine mandate will apply to about 184,000 businesses, according to the mayor’s office. It is set to go into effect on Dec. 27, just days before mayor-elect Eric Adams takes office.

Between this new mandate and the prior mandate for all city workers, just about anyone who works in New York City will be mandated to get the shot in order to go to work.
