Biden Refers to Famous Black Pitcher as a “Great Negro”

While giving a Veteran’s Day speech on Thursday, Joe Biden used the term “negro” while referencing Satchel Paige, a former professional baseball pitcher in the early to mid 20th century.

While speaking to a crowd, Biden said: “I just want to tell you, I know you’re a little younger than I am, but I’ve adopted the attitude of the great Negro at the time, pitcher in the Negro leagues, went on to become a great pitcher in the pros, major league baseball, after Jackie Robinson. His name was Satchel Paige.”

Conservatives are now questioning why liberals aren’t more outraged over the slip up.

For the entirety of his presidency, liberals took every opportunity to call President Donald Trump a racist, despite him never saying anything like this.

Biden on the other hand, has made a habit of making racially insensitive comments.

Biden said during the 2020 presidential election: “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

Nobody on the left cared then.

None of them seem to care now…

The Daily Wire broke the story:

Speaking on Thursday at a Veterans Day event at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, President Biden used a term which many find offensive, referring to the great black pitcher of the past, Satchel Paige, as “the great Negro at the time,” adding for clarification, “pitcher in the Negro leagues,” the term used to describe the segregated leagues for African-American players in the early to mid-20th century.

Biden told the crowd, “I just want to tell you, I know you’re a little younger than I am, but I’ve adopted the attitude of the great Negro at the time, pitcher in the Negro leagues, went on to become a great pitcher in the pros, major league baseball, after Jackie Robinson. His name was Satchel Paige.”

Here's reaction from Twitter:

If this were a one-time slip up, that would be one thing.

It's not though.
