This is on you Biden, Psaki, Zuckerberg, Harris, Milley, and Austin…….

Following several explosions at the Kabul airport earlier today, several U.S. service members have been reported as having been killed in action.

U.S. Marines never had to die. The entire situation in Afghanistan was completely avoidable, and it wouldn’t have taken a rocket scientist, or some special sort of specialized knowledge, to avoid the situation we are seeing on the ground now.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the families of those fallen, whoever they are, wherever they are.

Here are the latest developments:

The Associated Press reports:

A U.S. official says several Marines were killed and a number of other American military were wounded Thursday in an attack on Kabul’s airport.

U.S. officials have said that information is still coming in and they are trying to determine exact numbers of casualties.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss ongoing military operations.

The Pentagon would not say what troops were involved but acknowledged that “a number of U.S. service members were killed.”

CBS News had more:

Three sources told CBS News a suicide bomber was responsible for the explosion at Abbey Gate.

A Taliban spokesman condemned the “gruesome incident” and said the group “will take every step to bring the culprits to justice.”

On Wednesday evening, the U.S. and Britain warned citizens not to go to Kabul’s airport because of a terror threat outside the facility’s gates. The U.S. Embassy in the capital alerted U.S. citizens to avoid traveling to the airport and said those at three different gates “should leave immediately.”
