This is a heart warming moment.
President Trump has just endorsed the widow of Rep.-elect Luke Letlow of Louisiana.
Rep-elect Luke Letlow died after being hospitalized in late December and now his wife Julia Letlow is running in a special election runoff that will be held two weeks from now.
In Trump’s endorsement to Letlow he stated that she “is Pro-Life and strong on Crime, the Border, loves our Military, our Vets, and will always protect our cherished Second Amendment”.

The Hill covered Trump’s endorsement and had these details to chip in:
President Trump on Wednesday endorsed the widow of Rep.-elect Luke Letlow (R-La.), who died in December after being hospitalized with COVID-19, less than two weeks before a special election decides who wins the seat.
The former president praised Julia Letlow as “a wonderful and talented person” in a statement he released through his Save America PAC supporting her run to represent Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District.
“She is Pro-Life and strong on Crime, the Border, loves our Military, our Vets, and will always protect our cherished Second Amendment,” Trump wrote. “Julia, who is so outstanding, has my Complete and Total Endorsement. The Great State of Louisiana will be thrilled!”
Julia Letlow, who serves as an executive at the University of Louisiana Monroe, announced her intentions to run for the seat that her late husband won in the weeks after his death.
“I am running to continue the mission Luke started — to stand up for our Christian values, to fight for our rural agricultural communities and to deliver real results to move our state forward,” she said in a statement in January.
In a tweet Julia sent out she promised to put America first!

Fox News added these details to the story:
President Trump on Wednesday endorsed Julia Letlow, the widow of Rep.-elect Luke Letlow, to run for his seat and represent Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District.
Luke Letlow, 41, died from complications of COVID-19 late last year just days before he was due to be sworn into office. He died from a heart attack following a medical procedure at LSU Health Shreveport to remove a blood clot blamed on the virus.
The Hill reported that Trump called Julia Letlow a candidate who is “Pro-Life and strong on Crime, the Border, loves our Military, our Vets, and will always protect our cherished Second Amendment.”
Along with President Trump’s endorsement she also got an endorsement from Louisiana’s Sheriff’s and Deputies Political Action Committee.
I’m sure her husband would be super proud of her.
I’m humbled to have the support of Louisiana Sheriffs’ and Deputies’ Political Action Committee. The sheriffs and deputies of our district know I’ll have their back in Congress. pic.twitter.com/I1fV7Io7rR
