This is really cool, our President recently stopped in a mom-and-pop restaurant in Pennsylvania and ordered a pizza.
When a reporter asked him “Why did you come here today?” Trump immediately shot back “because they have great pizza here.”
TrumpĀ just finished giving a speech outside the Mariotti building products which is kitchen remodeler business in Old Forge, PA before he stopped to get a pizza

The Daily Mail added this to the story about Trump making the quick pitstop:
Donald TrumpĀ went to Joe Biden’s backyard on Thursday to attack his rival ahead of his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention – then the president stopped for some take-out pizza, which is a code word among Q-Anon conspiracy theorists.
The president, after speaking to supporters at Mariotti Building Products, a kitchen remodeler in Old Forge, made an unscheduled stop at a local pizza joint to buy a couple of pies.
It was an unusual move for Trump, who rarely makes such pit stops, unlike Vice President Mike Pence, who frequently stops at diners during his travels. Barack Obama, when he was president, also made several impromptu stops at diners and hamburger joints – which many politicians see as a way to meet and connect with ‘the people.’

The Hill Reporter reported these details about Trump ordering a pie:
President Donald Trump on Thursday had his motorcadeĀ stop for pizzaĀ atĀ Arcaro and Genell Takeaway KitchenĀ in Old Forge, Pennsylvania, afterĀ delivering disparaging remarksĀ about Joe Biden, the Democratic presidential nominee.
Biden, a native of neighboring Scranton, āspent the last half century in Washington selling out our country and ripping off our jobs,ā Trump said at Mariotti Building Products, a local lumber yard.
Having clearly worked up an appetite, Trump placed the order all by himself and could not wait to show the pizza off, theĀ Bucks County Courier TimesĀ reported.
This is pretty great to see the President support a local business during the same time COVID has devasted thousands of small businesses across the nations.
Maybe this could be a glimpse of hope of what’s to come to many small businesses across the nation.
