Don't worry, folks.
It was just a "peaceful protest."
A man reportedly driving his moms van (according to social media users) had his tires SLASHED by Portland riot police.
Last night, another round of riots took place in downtown Portland.
It is believed that this man attended the "protest."
Journalist Andy Ngo also reports that this man was blocking the road as riot police were trying to get to their destination.
He had a hand-drawn BLM poster with the power fist in the window.
The police riot van pulled up next to the BLM road warrior.
A police officer jumped out of the van and began slashing the man's tires.
The man then shouted expletives at the riot police as they drove off into the distance.
See the viral video below:
Last night was the 79th evening in a row of unrest in Portland.
Since the death of George Floyd, mostly white rioters have been causing damage in the city.
The man in the video was blocking the way of riot police.
It is also being reported that he is a member of Antifa.
Local KGW8 News has more details on last night's protest:
For the 79th night in a row following the death of George Floyd, Portland protestors called for an end to systemic racism, police brutality, as well as defunding police on Friday night.
A group of an estimated couple hundred people has been marching through North Portland, but Portland Police officers blocked streets heading to the Portland Police Association headquarters.
Police warned demonstrators, starting just after the demonstration began and throughout the night, to stay out of the streets because they are open to traffic, and if they didn't, police could arrest or cite them. That warning also included press and legal observers.
The Portland Police Bureau, in a press release, said protestors threw objects, lit dumpsters on fire and pointed lasers at officers. Four people were arrested as a result of the protests on charges of resisting arrest, assaulting an officer, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer.
The majority of demonstrators did disperse after 1:30 a.m. leaving several demonstrators who eventually stood on the sidewalk and in the street outside of Portland Police Association headquarters on Lombard until 3:45 a.m. as Portland Police reported.
Police initially declared an unlawful assembly just after 10 p.m., saying protesters threw "paint bombs" and other projectiles at officers. Independent journalist Andrew Jankowski cited the "bombs" were like balloons.
There have been reports of police using smoke to disperse the protesters. Video from Sergio Olmos shows a clash between police and protesters.
The mainstream media is calling these "peaceful protests."
Thanks to social media and the internet, however, the whole world can see the truth.
This kind of unrest and violence is a preview of what's to come if Joe Biden and Kamala Harris win in November.
Unfortunately, the city of Portland appears to be making things worse.
The DA announced that most rioters will NOT be prosecuted.
Isn't that crazy?!
The lunacy of the radical left knows no bounds!
After the announcement, the Oregon State Police pulled out of Portland.
According to the Blaze:
The Oregon State Police will no longer be assisting with Portland riot control, pulling out of the city after the district attorney announced that many crimes committed by rioters would not be prosecuted, according to the Oregonian.
About 100 state troopers had been assisting Portland police in controlling riots and protecting property during the nightly unrest that has been taking place in the city for at least 78 days.
After Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt announced Tuesday that crimes such as disorderly conduct, interference with a police officer, and resisting arrest might not be prosecuted in many cases, OSP Capt. Timothy Fox said the department would not be extending its assignment in the city, which he said was only supposed to be two weeks long anyway.
From the Oregonian:
State police committed to two weeks "and that two weeks ended today," said spokesman Capt. Timothy R. Fox.
"We're in a county that's not going to prosecute this criminal behavior," Fox added.
It was a pointed reference to Tuesday's announcement by new Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt that his office won't pursue many of the charges against demonstrators, including disorderly conduct, interfering with a police officer and even riot in some circumstances."The Oregon State Police is continually reassessing our resources and the needs of our partner agencies and at this time we are inclined to move those resources back to counties where prosecution of criminal conduct is still a priority," Fox said in a statement. "Last night was our last night in Portland. This decision was based on the fact that our two week commitment ended last night…Troopers are returning to the communities that they are assigned to serve and protect."
This November, we must speak loud and clear that we want law and order.
It is President Trump who is getting the major endorsements of law enforcement agencies and groups across the country.
President Trump will once again restore law and order to our nation!
It is clear that Democratic-run cities have become a sanctuary for crime.
That must no longer be tolerated!
