President Trump Shuts Down Tactless Reporter’s Question About Profiting Off Presidency

One of the fake narratives that the left likes to push is that President Trump’s motives behind being president are centered around making money from it.

Despite the fact that Trump has vowed, and kept his vow so far, to donate every cent of the 400K per year presidential salary to making America great again…

Despite that Obama was president and approved the deal on the hotel that liberals have been trying to sue Trump over based on some far-stretch of an interpretation of the emoluments clause…

Despite that President Trump has actually lost approximately $3 billion from his own bank account since became president, the left won’t give up on this baseless accusation.

After the G7 in France, NBC reporter Hallie Jackson, instead of asking anything relevant to the G7, rudely asked Trump to assure the American people he is not profiting off his presidency after accusing him of wanting to host next year’s G7 to make money from his Doral resort.

But President Trump, as always, had the perfect comeback!

Watch here:

Todd Starnes of Fox News made a great point about the media's treatment of President Trump when it comes to his wealth:

Fox Newshas more:

President Trump suggested Monday that the next G-7 summit may be hosted at his Trump National Doral Golf Resort.

Following his joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron, a reporter asked him: “What reassurances, if any, can you give the American people that you are not looking to profit off the presidency?”

Trump responded: “Probably it'll cost me anywhere from $3 billion to $5 billion to be president and the only thing I care about is this country.”

Trump said Doral is not only located in Miami, Florida but it has “all of the things that you need” to host the event.

The Gateway Pundit also commented:

NBC reporter Hallie Jackson questioned President Trump about next year’s G7 Summit in America and the possibility that he may hold next year’s summit at one of his properties. Jackson accused Trump of holding the summit on his property so he can make loads of money.

President Trump nuked her pointing out that he has lost around $3 billion in personal wealth since he became president. He added that he does not even make money for his speeches today. It’s all for free and for his country.
