It turns out that many of Ilhan Omar’s fellow Muslims are just as fed up with her BS as the rest of us!
This includes former Miss Iraq Sarah Idan, who in a recent interview on The Sara Carter Show voiced her contempt of Ilhan Omar, whom she says “does not represent me as a Muslim” and “does not represent millions of Muslims in the Middle East.”
News of this quickly broke out on Twitter:
Ilhan Omar was not happy.
However, instead of rebutting Sarah Idan, she just dodged the accusation by implying Idan couldn't claim anything since she wasn't a member of Omar's district!
Here's Omar's response on Twitter:
Sarah Idan wasn't going to let that slide, though.
She replied:
LaCorte News gave an overview of what went down:
Former Miss Iraq Sarah Idan has triggered a response from controversial Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) after saying that Omar -- who along with Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) are the first two Muslim women elected to Congress -- does not represent her "as a Muslim," Fox News reported.
The story: "Ilhan Omar does not represent me as a Muslim -- does not represent millions of Muslims in the Middle East," Idan told "The Sara Carter Show."
Fox News had the following to say about Ex-Miss Iraq's takedown of Omar:
Former Miss Iraq Sarah Idan provoked the criticism of Rep. Ilhan Omar on Thursday after news surfaced that she distanced herself from the freshman Democrat from Minnesota in an interview.
"Ilhan Omar does not represent me as a Muslim -- does not represent millions of Muslims in the Middle East," Idan told "The Sara Carter Show."
Those comments prompted Omar to stress that she wasn't the beauty queen's representative since she didn't live in her congressional district.
"Hey, I might be wrong but I don’t think you are a #MN05 resident and like that makes be not your representative," Omar tweeted alongside a shrug emoji.
Idan labeled the Minnesota congresswoman's agenda "anti-American."
"Seriously @IlhanMN this is your intellectual come back?" she asked. "I said as a MUSLIM! I dont stand for your anti-American, anti-Semitic, Muslim Brotherhood agenda using this democracy to further YOUR & YOUR FRIENDS Islamic socialism goals of dividing & weakening our country."
The Washington Examiner also said:
Former Miss Iraq Sarah Idan sparred with Rep. Ilhan Omar over whether the Minnesota Democrat was representative of Muslim values.
"Omar does not represent me as a Muslim, does not represent millions of Muslims in the middle in the Middle East. You know like in Arab countries we call her the Muslim Brotherhood," the 29-year-old Iraqi-American model told Fox New contributor Sara Carter.
"Hey, I might be wrong but I don’t think you are a #MN05 resident and like that makes be not your representative," Omar responded Thursday to the article Carter had posted on Twitter.

Idan connected Omar's support for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Muslim advocacy group that critics say has ties to terrorists organizations Hamas and Hezbollah. It’s clear that @IlhanMN will dismiss your voice and hardships as a Muslim immigrant of color simply if you don’t live in Minnesota #MN05 but she has repeatedly represented the Muslim Brotherhood and their affiliates @CAIRNational 🤷🏽♀️https://t.co/DO11ExyEG8

The Minnesota congresswomen headlined a CAIR event this spring in which stated: "CAIR was founded after 9/11, because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties."
