President Trump Scores ANOTHER Huge Win As Court Blocks Democrat Subpoenas Into His Personal Finances!

President Trump has just been granted yet another legal victory!

On Friday, a federal court ruled in President Trump’s favor and against the Democrats who had been trying to get their hands on Trump’s financial records by temporarily blocking their subpoenas for Trump Organization financial documents.

The Democrats had tried to subpoena Trump’s financial documents over an accusation that he violated the emoluments clause – which says that those in office cannot take a gift from a foreign country with him when he leaves office – since foreign officials have stayed at one of Trump’s D.C. hotels while visiting the United States (Do you think this is a stretch?)

Judge Sullivan made the decision only a week after the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals blocked attorneys from suing President Trump over the same accusation.

Take a look at this major win for President Trump on Twitter:

CNN has more details on the court ruling:

A federal judge Friday paused congressional Democrats' subpoenas of Trump Organization financial records, 10 days before the records were due in a lawsuit over whether President Donald Trump is violating the Constitution.

The delay is a win for Trump, even if temporary. He's attempting -- and so far has succeeded -- to hold off multiple subpoenas from the Democrats that could divulge secrets about his company and assets.

Judge Emmet Sullivan made the decision Friday shortly after the appeals court above him said it wanted to hear the emoluments case. The case had been progressing, with the Democrats sending 37 subpoenas earlier this month seeking financial information about Mar-a-Lago, the Trump International Hotel, Trump Tower and other Trump properties. Those subpoenas had a due date of July 29.

The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit said Friday it should hear the case, about the emoluments clause of the Constitution, before the Democrats collect evidence. But the court isn't ready to hear the case just yet. The panel of three judges directed the Justice Department and the lower court on Friday to take more legal steps, because of legal technicalities, before it will hear the case.

The Blaze also had the following to say about the win for President Trump:

President Donald Trump scored another legal victory Friday when a federal judge temporarily blocked congressional Democrats' subpoenas for financial documents related to the Trump Organization.

Judge Emmet Sullivan made the decision just hours after the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals said it wanted to hear the case, CNN reported, which reported the ruling as a "win" for the president.

The case is related to lawsuit filed by the Constitutional Accountability Center on behalf of House and Senate Democrats who allege Trump is violating the Constitution's Emoluments Clause by profiting from foreign governments while in office.

In a lawsuit filed July 8, Democrats sent Trump 37 subpoenas seeking financial information related to a plethora of Trump properties, including Trump Tower and Mar-a-Lago.
