NO CHARGES: Trump Plays Principal With Freed College Basketball Players In Charming Back-and-Forth

Today, President Trump sent out a tweet that could be seen as a loving, but sternly disappointed Principal talking to the wayward student-athletes he just saved.

“Do you think the three UCLA Basketball Players will say thank you President Trump?” the President tweeted today.

“They were headed for 10 years in jail!” the POTUS continued, failing to mention that it might have been a torturous Chinese jail. 

Right on cue, the players thanked Trump!

UCLA student-athletes Cody Riley, Jalen Hill and LiAngelo Ball were apprehended in Beijing last week for swiping sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store in the mall.

After Trump intervened and spoke to President Xi, the suspects were released on Tuesday night and will not face charges.

“He was terrific,” said Trump of Xi.

“We really appreciate you helping us out,” a UCLA official reportedly told President Trump.
