Former CDC Director Robert Redfield said on The Hill’s “Rising” that the COVID-19 ‘pandemic’ was caused by science.
He thinks COVID-19 was part of a biodefense program to make a vaccine vector and that the virus escaped sometime around September 2019.
Redfield asserted that the ‘Great Pandemic’ is coming due to gain-of-function research or intentional bio-terrorism.
He emphasized there should be a moratorium on gain-of-function research.
“I do believe that the most likely answer when we get to the truth is that this pandemic was caused by science, not by a natural spillover event,” Redfield said.

“I consider COVID a minor pandemic. The ‘Great Pandemic’ is going to come…it’s much more probable that is will happen because of gain-of-function research in a laboratory and then escape and then we’re going to have a pandemic, the flu, which will be much more brutal to the world than COVID was,” Redfield added.

Redfield also commented on Fauci’s criticism of his congressional testimony.
“There was a very concerted effort to come to a single narrative. I’m not going to tell you who on the call told me how they went to a single narrative. I’m not going to say who said one of the reasons certain people who weren’t included like me is they were convinced that I wouldn’t agree with a single narrative but the fact is they came out with a single narrative in 3 days,” he explained.

Redfield spoke before the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic.
“I think there’s no doubt NIH funded gain of function research,” Redfield said.
Rep. Nicole Malliotakis asked, “Is it likely that American tax dollars funded the gain-of-function research that created this virus?”
“I think it did, not only from NIH but from the State Department, USAID, and from DOD,” Redfield answered.
