The Pentagon has been tracking an alleged Chinese spy balloon spotted over Billing, Montana.

According to reports, the balloon had been floating over Montana for days, and there has not been an order to shoot it down.

BREAKING: Pentagon Tracking Suspected Chinese Spy Balloon Over Montana

President Trump broke his silence about the balloon floating over Montana.

Trump: SHOOT DOWN THAT BALLOON

Trump in a new Truth Social Post wrote "SHOOT DOWN THE BALLOON!”

Biden decided against shooting down the balloon, citing the "danger of falling debris to people on the ground."

As Newsweek noted, the alleged spy balloon has been spotted near sensitive military sites in Montana.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry responded to the alleged spy balloon.

They admitted the balloon is from China.

However, they claimed it's a "civilian airship used for research."

And we're supposed to believe that?

If we had a balloon flying over Chinese military sites, I'm sure Xi Jinping would allow it to keep floating around the country.

The Chinese balloon is expected to fly through the United States and be over Southeast Missouri sometime Friday.

However, the trajectory could change depending on the jet stream and weather conditions.

Here's the response from the Chinese Foreign Ministry:

Q: According to media reports, a Chinese unmanned airship hasbeen spotted in US airspace. Do you have any comment?

A: The airship is from China. It is a civilian airship used for research, mainly meteorological, purposes. Affected by the Westerlies and with limited self-steering capability, the airship deviated far from its planned course. The Chinese side regrets the unintended entry of the airship into US airspace due to force majeure. The Chinese side will continue communicating with the US side and properly handle this unexpected situation caused by force majeure.
