The Twitter files continue to not disappoint!
It looks like Michelle Obama may have had a hand to play in getting President Donald Trump banned from Twitter in the first place.
According to the latest installment of the Twitter files, President Trump was banned from Twitter ONE DAY after the social media giant was pressured by Michelle Obama to “permanently” remove him.
Journalist Michael Shellenberger and Elon Musk released round four of the files on Saturday, which revealed the internal communication about removing Trump.
“Now is the time for Silicon Valley companies to stop enabling this monstrous behavior—and go even further than they have already by permanently banning this man from their platforms and putting in place policies to prevent their technologies from being used by the nation’s leaders to fuel insurrection,” said Obama on January 7th of 2020.

Fox News reports on this breaking story:
Former President Donald Trump was banned from Twitter the day after former first lady Michelle Obama and others demanded the company “permanently” remove him, according to the newest “Twitter Files” installment.
On Saturday, CEO Elon Musk and journalist Michael Shellenberger released the fourth batch of Twitter documents that show internal communications by the company’s executives between Jan. 6-8, 2021, including and shortly after the riot at the Capitol Building.
Among the files, Shellenberger reported “internal and external pressure,” including from the former first lady, fell onto the company calling for Trump to be banned from using Twitter.
“Now is the time for Silicon Valley companies to stop enabling this monstrous behavior—and go even further than they have already by permanently banning this man from their platforms and putting in place policies to prevent their technologies from being used by the nation’s leaders to fuel insurrection,” Obama wrote in a lengthy statement posted to Twitter on Jan. 7.

Here are more details from the Post Millennial:
On Saturday, Michael Shellenberger tweeted out part four of the Twitter files which revealed that former First Lady Michelle Obama’s pressured Twitter to ban then President Donald Trump on January 7, 2021, a day before Twitter did it. After the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, the outlet created a justification to ban the sitting president.
“Now is the time for Silicon Valley companies to stop enabling this monstrous behavior—and go even further than they have already by permanently banning this man from their platforms and putting in place policies to prevent their technologies from being used by the nation’s leaders to fuel insurrection,” Obama’s note to Twitter read.
Twitter reacts to Michelle Obama’s involvement in banning Trump:
So @MichelleObama contacted @Twitter complaining about Trump and wanted him banned.
And they did it! That’s dirty low down. I want to complain about Michelle. Ban her! @BarackObama #TwitterFiles3

Remember when Barack became a candidate for president and Michelle Obama said “for the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country.” Next thing we know she’s pushing Twitter to ban his successor from the public square.

Lol. @MichelleObama trying to cancel her husband’s political opponents while pretending to be for diversity and tolerance is peak hypocrisy.
