This morning the Utah County Sherriff’s Office released information that David Lee Hamblin was arrested in relation to the investigation involving ritualistic child sexual abuse. The police being able to detain him marks the first arrest in connection with this case.

David Lee Hamblin was previously the main suspect in a case in 2012 revolving around child ritualistic and sexual abuse. Although Hamblin admitted to rape, the case was dismissed.

Booking and probable cause has not yet been made public. Yet, David Lee Hamblin previously has had 18 felony charges, see below…

Brett Bluth, one of Hamblin’s alleged victims, spoke out to Fox13 Utah in an emotional interview.

He described a long period of abuse and grooming by David Hamblin – a therapist who was trying to “heal” him of his homosexuality.

Besides Hamblin, David Leavitt is the only known suspect being investigated in this case. However, the Utah County Sheriff’s Office has claimed that there are many others being scrutinized including “high-profile individuals”.

I will continue to update you on my findings.

If you want to read/listen to the witness statements revolving around this case, you can find those in my latest article here.

Remember when reading/listening to the witness statements that all suspects or names mentioned are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Don’t believe everything as an absolute fact just yet. What we can do as the public is demand that this should be investigated further and hopefully those people that need to will be brought to justice.

Hopefully, more light will be shed in relation to this case at the Utah County Sheriff’s Office press conference this afternoon.
