After Running a Story Defending a Sex Offender, VICE Gets a Surprise..

The progressive leftist media cares more about defending the worst kinds of people rather than law-abiding Americans.

For instance, VICE recently ran a sympathy piece defending sex offenders.

They interviewed a man named Aishef, a convicted sex offender who was recently released from prison and was struggling to make ends meet.

It was your typical sob story about a man somehow “wronged” by the system.

The most telling part of the entire story was the aftermath though.

According to VICE, Aishef sent a photo of his penis to the producer who interviewed him after the interview was complete.

To make matters worse, VICE released a follow up video response to the incident, in which they appeared to double down on defending him…

Here’s the story from our friends at the New York Post:

A registered sex offender texted a photo of his penis to a Vice News producer who interviewed him about his struggles to reintegrate into society, a correspondent for the news site reported.

Vice chronicled the story of a man named “Aishef” and other convicted sex offenders who said they have had to serve additional time in prison, or “dead time,” because of the restrictive housing laws that prohibit them from living in many areas of the country.

After the interviews, Vice correspondent Alice Hines reported in the segment that Aishef sent the lewd photo to a Vice producer.

“Cyber-flashing is illegal in Chicago by city ordinance,” Hines says in the clip, which aired this month.

Aishef claimed through a lawyer that the photo was sent by mistake.

It is unclear if Aishef was charged in the incident.

VICE provided this preview of the episode featuring Aishef:

The most telling part of the whole incident is VICE’s response afterwards.

One of the members of VICE News was interviewed about what happened, and she didn’t exactly seem all that upset.

If anything, she comes across as defending Aishef, even giving credence to his claim that it may have been an accident..

My favorite part is at the end when she says that Aishef “is a complex person and this is part of his complexity.”
