Ok, ok, let me issue a quick correction…
I’m not sure if this is “worse” than Joe Biden.
I leave that up to your judgment.
What I do know is he’s in the game.
Definitely in the running for worst word-salad, and when you’re competing against the Mumbler In Chief, that’s a real accomplishment!
But don’t take my word for it…
Watch this and judge for yourself:
What is happening?

Fetterman had a stroke and absolutely cannot debate anyone.
His staffers’ strategy is to hide him – and fake it to put one over on the people of Pennsylvania. https://t.co/msG3QLIdhd

Here’s part of what The Hill had to say:
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s editorial board said that Pennsylvania Senate Republican nominee Mehmet Oz has raised “legitimate concerns” about his Democratic opponent, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, in an editorial published Tuesday.
The editorial comes a week after Fetterman announced that he would not participate in a debate with Oz during the first week of September, citing his recovery from a stroke he had in May and statements from Oz’s campaign that Fetterman has said mocked him for having the stroke.
“If Mr. Fetterman is not well enough to debate his opponent, that raises serious concerns about his ability to serve as a United States senator,” the editorial states.
Fetterman told the Post-Gazette in July that he felt “really good” following the stroke and has no “physical limits.”
The editorial states Fetterman’s campaign has acknowledged lingering struggles with speech but asserts that he will fully recover and is taking the necessary steps to do so in speech therapy. It states that a live debate is the best way to determine if Fetterman is up to the job of senator.
The editorial board endorsed former President Trump for reelection in 2020, its first time endorsing a Republican for president since 1972. Trump endorsed Oz’s campaign in the spring.
The board said the legitimate point about Fetterman’s health does not excuse the tactics that Oz’s campaign has pursued in deciding that Oz will benefit from “dragging the race deeper and deeper into the muck.”
And from CNN:
John Fetterman’s Senate campaign said recently that the Pennsylvania Democrat’s recovery from a stroke earlier this year complicates his ability to participate in a debate with Republican nominee Mehmet Oz.
“We are working to figure out what a fair debate would look like with the lingering impacts of the auditory processing in mind,” Fetterman campaign strategist Rebecca Katz told The Washington Post. “To be absolutely clear, the occasional issues he is having with auditory processing have no bearing on his ability to do the job as senator. John is healthy and fully capable of showing up and doing the work.”
Which seems like a pretty big admission — particularly for a candidate like Fetterman who is currently the frontrunner to win the seat being vacated by retiring GOP Sen. Pat Toomey.
Especially when you consider that Fetterman was off the campaign trail entirely for several months in the wake of suffering a stroke on May 13. (He started campaigning actively again on August 12.)
And that his campaign initially sought to downplay the severity of his condition, spin that was upended by the candidate himself who acknowledged that he “almost died” in a June statement.
In a press conference on Tuesday with Oz, Toomey sought to draw attention to Fetterman’s health.
“It’s clear that he’s being dishonest,” Toomey said of Fetterman. “He’s either not as well as he claims to be, or he’s afraid to be called out for the radical policies he supports. It’s one or the other.
And look, I’ll say this…
If the man had a stroke and is still suffering and recovering, then we sure hope he’s ok.
But is that the best America has to offer for public office?
Someone who stroked out and no longer has the capability to form complete sentences?
THAT is our best and brightest we’re sending into office?
I mean, I realize the precedent was set with Joe, but let’s not make this a pattern!
Of course, if you were looking at this skeptically, you’d say that the “Powers That Should Not Be” love candidates like this because they are MUCH easier to control.
Makes sense, doesn’t it?
Get a braindead in there, animate them up with a bunch of drugs and stimulants and basically play out the plot of Weekend At Bernies for 4 years while you pull all the strings in the background.
So that’s Fetterman.
By comparison, here are two of Biden’s best (or is that worst?)…
What do you think?
