It is difficult at best for me to try to wrap my mind around the motivations of both the acting Attorney General and his lackeys at all levels of the bureaucratic morass.

Public confidence in institutions like the F.B.I. and the DOJ is at an all-time low, with my estimation of the public trust in government falling well within the single digits.

Just what did they hope to accomplish by using these agencies to conduct a politically motivated raid on one of the most popular political figures in American history?

Garland, his DOJ, and the F.B.I. are now facing sharp criticism from everyone—even leftists like disgraced New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

To make matters worse, this wasn’t even a well-orchestrated raid, Sean Davis, founder of the Federalist, identified 3 major lies peddled by public officials after the raid:

Western Journal dissected Davis’ post:

But there was nothing whatsoever “narrow” about the FBI raid, which involved in the neighborhood of 30 agents and support staff and lasted about 10 hours.

At National Review – a conservative website with a well-documented history as a nest of vituperous NeverTrumpers – former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy blasted the warrant for the search as a blatantly politicized weapon to seek evidence to tie Trump to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol incursion.

 

So now that the DOJ blatantly lied about Trump’s passport, how can we believe ANYTHING they say about this raid is true?

Alina Habba recently told Jesse Watters of Fox News that the judge will likely not unseal the affidavit against Trump—leading only to further suspicion:

“As we can see, the DOJ is already saying that they do not want us to see what was in the affidavit.

Usually, that’s to protect witnesses and other things that have been cooperating with the justice system.

So while I would love to see it and understand why you would ask for a raid with a cooperating president, do I believe that this judge is going to reveal it?

No, I do not.”
