“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

Luckily, good men are doing something.

Yet another would-be murderer was stopped by a good guy with a gun.

An armed robber who held a knife to a gas station clerk’s neck in St. Charles, Missouri, was shot and killed by a heroic customer.

The customer re-entered the store after noticing the suspect, 26-year old Lance Bush, holding a knife to the neck of the female clerk.

The suspect allegedly charged the customer, who retaliated with four shots, dropping the suspect to the ground.

“Taking somebody’s life is not an everyday thing, neither is saving someone’s life,” the anonymous hero told local news outlets.

Our friends at Breitbart report on the attempted robbery:

A 26-year-old man who allegedly held a knife to a gas station clerk’s neck in St. Charles, Missouri, was shot and killed Saturday morning by a store customer.

FOX 2 Now reports that the incident occurred around 3 a.m. and that police indicated the suspect was traveling in a black SUV that had been stolen on July 15.

Fox News has a detailed account of what occurred from the heroic shopper:

“I walked up to the door and I saw him with a knife to her throat. She was emptying out the cash register and I took a step in and peeked my head in to ask if everything was okay. I couldn’t see his face, but he was saying yes, but I could see her face she was saying no, she was scared,” he continued.

According to the gun owner’s account of events, Bush then ran from around the counter to attack before the customer fired approximately four shots, dropping him to the ground.

“Taking somebody’s life is not an everyday thing, neither is saving someone’s life,” the customer told local outlets.
