First Lady Jill Biden faced severe backlash for comparing the Hispanic community to “breakfast tacos.”
Jill Biden on Monday delivered a speech at a “Latinx IncluXion Luncheon” in San Antonio.
Monday, at the annual conference of UnidosUS in San Antonio, Jill Biden attempted to praise Civil Rights advocate Raul Yzaguirre in an odd way.
“Raul helped build this organization with the understanding that the diversity of this community, as distinct as the bodegas of the Bronx, as beautiful as the blossoms of Miami, and as unique as the breakfast tacos here in San Antonio, is your strength,” Biden said.

Once again, Dr. Jill Biden butchers the Spanish language in furtherance of pandering to a client constituency (the org FKA National Council of La Raza). I hereby bless your timelines with Dr. Jill's rendering of "bodega". pic.twitter.com/Z4FSXtlUMe

Jill Biden’s office apologized for her remarks after receiving backlash.
Of course, Jill Biden couldn't issue an apology herself.
“The First Lady apologizes that her words conveyed anything but pure admiration and love for the Latino community.” Michael LaRosa tweeted Tuesday morning.

She apologized to who... you? Will she be making a public statement or no?

Notice how it's "Latino community" this time.
There's no mention of "Latinx."
"Perhaps the least respectful way to convey an apology for offending an entire demographic that's already leaving your party in droves," Zero Hedge noted.
Zero Hedge further explained how Jill Biden's comments offended the Latino community:
This did not sit well with Latinos, who spent the day dragging her on Twitter. It also caught the attention of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ), which said in a statement: "We are not tacos."
"Using breakfast tacos to try to demonstrate the uniqueness of Latinos in San Antonio demonstrates a lack of cultural knowledge and sensitivity to the diversity of Latinos in the region," reads the statement.
"Our heritage as Latinos is shaped by a variety of diasporas, cultures and food traditions, and should not be reduced to a stereotype."
NAHJ encourages @FLOTUS & her communications team to take time to better understand the complexities of our people & communities.

Memes flooded the internet following Jill Biden's racist remarks:
How can they not love her, after all she's done?

It's no wonder Hispanics are fleeing the Democrat Party!
