Violence against law enforcement officers has been on the rise within the last couple of months and the violence has yet to be quelched.

The most recent violent attack against police officers occurred in Kentucky.

Three police officers including a police canine were killed while responding to a domestic abuse call in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

According to the Kentucky State Police, Capt. Ralph Frasure, Deputy William Petry, K9 Drago, and Canine Handler Jacob Chaffins were all gunned down while serving a warrant.

The man allegedly behind the shooting was 49-year-old Lance Stirz who is now in police custody.
