A vegan mother from Florida has just been found guilty of murdering her 18-month-old.

Sheila O’Leary was found guilty of murdering her baby after she starved the child to death by only feeding the baby only fruits, vegetables, and breastmilk.

O’Leary’s son died in 2019 and according to the doctors, the child died from malnutrition.

An autopsy revealed that her son Ezra wasn’t fed in almost a week which ultimately led to his death.

A vegan mother has been found guilty of murder for the death of her 18-month-old son who weighed just 17lbs when he died in 2019 after a short life being fed only fruit, vegetables and breastmilk.

Sheila O’Leary, 39, was convicted of a jury in Cape Coral, Florida, on Tuesday after a week-long trial.

She is now facing life behind bars and will be sentenced on July 25. Her son Ezra died in 2019 from complications caused by malnutrition.

Doctors found he hadn’t been fed for a week by the time he died in September 2019.

Sheila and her husband, who has also been charged with murder and is waiting trial, called 911 after Ezra stopped breathing.

A vegan mother is facing life in prison for murdering her 18-month-old child who starved to death on a strict raw fruit and vegetable diet.

A Florida jury convicted Sheila O’Leary, 39, on Wednesday of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter, child abuse and two counts of child neglect in the death of her son, Ezra.

Following Ezra’s death, Sheila and her husband, Ryan, told authorities that the family followed a strict vegan diet limited to “only raw fruits and vegetables” and “breast milk,” according to News Press.
