The January 6th committee’s special witness was a complete joke.
Former Mark Meadows staffer Cassidy Hutchinson testified before the January 6th Committee and claimed that President Trump lunged towards the steering wheel of the presidential vehicle he was in and proceeded to attack a secret service agent
Hutchinson would go on to say Trump lunged at the agent because he told him to drive towards the Capitol but the secret service agent refused due to not having a security clearance.
Trump responded to Hutchingson’s claims and stated “Her fake story that I tried to grab the steering wheel of the White House limousine in order to steer it to the Capitol is “sick” and fraudulent, very much like the Unselect Committee itself – Wouldn’t have even been possible to do such a ridiculous thing.”

The Daily Mail shared these details:
‘I’m the effing president, take me to the Capitol now,’ she said he ordered.
When Secret Service refused, Hutchinson said agents told her that he lunged at the steering wheel of his car – known as The Beast.
‘Sir, you need to take your hand off the steering wheel. We’re going back to the West Wing, we’re not going to the Capitol,’ Hutchinson was told Secret Service agent Robert Engel said.
‘Mr. Trump then used his free hand to lunge towards Bobby Engel,’ Hutchinson recalled.
Former Deputy Chief of Staff Tony Ornato ‘motioned toward his clavicle,’ she added, as a sign the president went for his security detail’s throat.
Trump denied Hutchinson’s testimony in a statement on his social media platform, Truth Social.

The New York Post shared these details about Hutchinson being denied a job at Mar a Lago:
Cassidy Hutchinson went from obscure former White House aide to one of the star witnesses of the Jan. 6 hearings by dropping bombshell allegations during Tuesday testimony about the behavior of President Donald Trump during the day his supporters stormed the Capitol.
Before she became a household name, though, she burst into tears of joy when she landed an internship in the White House during Trump’s presidency.
But there was a falling out between Hutchinson and Meadows in 2021, a former White House aide told CNN. She was supposed to become permanent staff at Mar-a-Lago, but those plans fell through, the outlet reported.
