Matt Susz, Joann Inc.’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, died suddenly on Wednesday, the company said Thursday.

Tom Dryer, currently Joann’s vice president and controller, will serve as interim chief financial officer, the Hudson, Ohio, fabric and craft retailer said.

Mr. Susz joined Joann in 1996 and had been chief financial officer since February 2019.
