WATCH: Newly Revealed Audio Shows Kevin McCarthy Blaming Trump For January 6th

Kevin McCarthy is the picture perfect image of a RINO.

Recently surfaced audio tapes have revealed that Kevin McCarthy claims that President Trump held himself at least partially responsible for the January 6th protests.

The tapes also revealed that he also considered asking President Trump to resign in response to the protests.

I suspect that McCarthy was not telling the truth on the tape, and let’s be honest here: any RINO would make the claims that McCarthy has, wouldn’t they?

Axios featured this quote from McCarthy found on the tape:

“I’ve had a few discussions. My gut tells me no. I’m seriously thinking of having that conversation with him tonight. I haven’t talked to him in a couple days.

From what I know of him — I mean, you guys all know him, too. Do you think he’d ever back away? But what I think I’m going to do is, I’m going to call him.” …

CNN recalled other public comments made by Kevin McCarthy:

McCarthy made similar public comments in a little-noticed local radio interview one week after the insurrection, which CNN reported on earlier this year.

“I say he has responsibility,” McCarthy said on KERN, a local radio station in Bakersfield, California, on January 12 of last year. “He told me personally that he does have some responsibility. I think a lot of people do.”
