A few years ago, the Left cared more about manufacturing lies of alleged sexual misconduct about then-Supreme Court justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh than looking into his actual judicial record before he was confirmed.
Today the left is ignoring the judicial record of Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson, who once gave leniency to a child rapist who violated his probation.
According to the New York Post, Leo Weekes violated his probation after being charged with raping his 13-year-old niece back in 2010.
Weekes then violated his probation by lying about where he was living and failed to register as a sex offender.

Despite the fact that prosecutors wanted to have Weekes locked up for two years, Ketanji Brown Jackson gave him a more lenient sentence, and he was out in just 5 months.
During the time that he should have been locked up, Weekes allegedly attempted to rape his sister-in-law.
This of course would never have happened if Ketanji Brown Jackson hadn’t been lenient with him.

Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson doled out a lenient sentence to a child rapist for violating probation — and he allegedly struck again during the time when prosecutors wanted him locked up, The Post has learned.
The Biden nominee’s handling of sex offender Leo Weekes’ case emerged in a tranche of court filings and transcripts sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee Friday — just days before the panel is set to vote on whether to report her nomination to the full Senate.
While Republicans have previously highlighted Jackson’s practice of giving the lightest possible punishments in child pornography cases, the Weekes case throws into question her treatment of rapists, as well.
“This case is yet another example of information coming to light after the nomination hearing concluded because of the Democrats’ rushed vetting process,” a Republican Judiciary Committee aide told The Post Saturday.

Leo Weekes was handed a 12 month sentence by Brown Jackson in February 2014 after failing to register as a sex offender following his 2010 conviction for raping his 13 year-old niece.
With time served, he ended up behind bars for just five months, and was freed in July that year.
In June 2015 he sexually assaulted his sister-in-law, plying her with drink before attacking her.
He was arrested, but she decided not to press charges – prosecutors said he paid $2,500 to drop her allegations, The New York Post reported. Had Brown Jackson gone along with prosecutors’ requests to jail him for two years, the attack on Weekes’ sister-in-law would not have taken place when it did, and may have been avoided altogether.
Weekes, of Washington DC, was freed over the initial child rape in early 2013, but ignored an order to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
