FDNY Union Leader Requests Investigation to Determine Possible Link Between COVID-19 Jabs and Recent Department Deaths

An FDNY union leader is requesting the department to investigate whether three recent firefighter deaths resulted from the mandated COVID-19 jabs.

Each of the tragedies occurred in the months following the city’s COVID-19 jab mandate for municipal workers.

Mayor De Blasio Announces COVID-19 Jab Mandate on All NYC City Workers

Due to the unusually high number of deaths in the department in such a short timeframe, an FDNY union leader wants to determine if the experimental shot played a role.

New York Daily News reported:

The request from Uniformed Fire Officers Association President James McCarthy comes after the line-of-duty deaths of Lt. Joseph Maiello, 53, who was found dead in a Staten Island firehouse after a Christmas shift, and Firefighter Jesse Gerhard, 33, who died at his firehouse in Far Rockaway, Queens, after a medical episode Wednesday.

McCarthy wants the FDNY to include in its vaccine probe the death of Probationary Firefighter Vincent Malveaux, 31, who died Dec. 2 at the FDNY Training Academy on Randalls Island after suffering a medical episode believed to be a seizure.

"That's a significant amount of people in a very short time," said McCarthy. "The vaccine is a concern with our members because it is something new that is being put into our bodies. It could be a factor."

McCarthy is asking the FDNY to provide the union with any information related to the fallen members' COVID vaccine history, sources said.

As Truth Lion reported, NYC Mayor Adams fired 1,400 municipal workers for their refusal to take the experimental COVID-19 jab.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams Fires Over 1,400 City Employees for Refusing the COVID-19 Jabs

Although Mayor Adams admits vaccine mandates don't work to slow the spread, he continues to act like a medical tyrant and fire working-class New Yorkers.

Per the New York Post:

Mayor Eric Adams admitted Wednesday that vaccine mandates don’t work — yet he’s still going ahead with firing city workers who refuse to show proof they got their shots.

“The rule was put in place; to start changing it now would send mixed messages,” he said while lamenting the fact that un-jabbed Brooklyn Netspoint guard Kyrie Irvingcan’t play at his home arena even though unvaxxed out-of-towners can.

Mixed messages? We’ve heard time and again that vax mandates are a life-and-death question of public health, fending off some new COVID surge. That’s plainly no longer true, if it ever was.

So what’s the point now? New York City’s positivity rate is below 2%, down from an Omicron peak of near 23%. It’s clearly time to rethink draconian COVID approaches.

The disconnect between policy and reality here is so glaring that the best Adams can offer in defense is a lukewarm worry that changing it might scramble political messaging. But at least he’s finally, albeit inadvertently, come clean about mandates: They’ve become pure hygiene theater.

Tragically, "pure hygiene theater" that may have cost multiple FDNY firefighters their lives, pending a potential investigation.

If a correlation is proven between the aforementioned tragedies and the COVID-19 jabs, what will be the response from Mayor Eric Adams?

What about his predecessor, Bill de Blasio?
