The NEWEST Statement From President Trump

Only Democrats seem to love Liz Cheney, and one GOP hopeful is now challenging her seat…

Harriet Hageman will reportedly be challenging Liz Cheney in the upcoming 2022 primaries, as the now infamous Cheney continues to hemorrhage support within her own party.

Cheney, who has been a vocal critic of President Trump is increasingly losing touch with both her base and the GOP, but this in no way guarantees that she will be ousted by a hopeful Hageman.

One can only hope that RINO’s like Cheney become a thing of distant memory, or she does the correct thing and joins the Democratic Party.

President Trump issued this statement in response to Hageman’s endorsement by ranking members of the GOP:

Kevin McCarthy told The Federalist:

“After spending time with Harriet, it is readily apparent she will always listen and prioritize the needs of her local communities and is focused on tackling our nation’s biggest problems,” McCarthy told The Federalist. “I look forward to serving with Harriet for years to come.”

The endorsement from the party’s top lawmaker in the lower chamber comes after a long string of Cheney attacks on her colleagues and even her own constituents, resulting in numerous censures and demotions.

Politico claims:

Former President Donald Trump and his allies have been privately lobbying Wyoming lawmakers to change the state’s election laws as part of an effort to unseat Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.).

On Thursday, Trump endorsed Wyoming legislation that would prevent crossover voting in a primary election. Were the law to pass, Democrats, Republicans, or independents would no longer be able to switch party affiliation on the day of the state’s primary to vote for a candidate in another party.
