Fully vaccinated and boosted U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy announced on Friday his entire family tested positive for COVID-19.
Everyone in Murthy’s household eligible to be vaccinated has received the experimental COVID-19 injections.
Several days ago, Murthy said his 4-year-old daughter tested positive for COVID-19 and had mild symptoms.
Trying to isolate a small child from her 5 y/o brother and parents in a small home is pretty tough. Which is why I’m grateful that my son, my wife, and I are all vaccinated. Even if we contract the virus, it’s unlikely to cause severe illness because we have protection.

Murthy confirmed that he, his wife, and his 5-year-old son, all vaccinated, also tested positive for the virus, providing more proof the injections don’t stop transmission.

Days after revealing that his 4-year-old daughter has COVID-19, Surgeon General Vivek Murthy announced on Twitter Friday that he, his wife and 5-year-old son also have tested positive for the virus.https://t.co/Ua0OQMVCKt

FOX News reported:
“Update: my 5 year old son, my wife Alice, and I have all tested positive for COVID-19. Our son has a runny nose and low grade fever but is otherwise eating, drinking, playing with his sister, and watching his favorite cartoons,” Murthy tweeted. “My four year old daughter who tested positive first is doing ok. Fevers are starting to improve. She’s still congested and is now hoarse from all the coughing, but thankfully she’s still smiling and enjoying her arts and crafts.”
Murthy is vaccinated and boosted, and his symptoms are “mild,” he said: muscle aches, chills and sore throat. Murthy said all family members who are eligible are also vaccinated earlier this week, and tweeted Friday that his family members also have mild symptoms.
Murthy repeated the same nonsensical script thanking the experimental COVID-19 injections for “saving our lives.”
One major source of peace of mind for us: we and our son are vaxed/boosted. Vaccines are very effective at saving our lives and keeping us out of the hospital. As parents, I can’t tell you how reassuring it is to know we’ll be able to care for our kids even if we get infected.

Newsmax added:
The New York Times reported Wednesday that when Dr. Debra Langlois learned last week that federal regulators had delayed the review of Pfizer-BioNTech’s coronavirus vaccine for children under 5, she was incredulous. “I was like, Are you kidding me? Every day my daughter can’t be vaccinated, she’s at risk.”
As the parent of young children, Murthy said he can relate.
“I wish a vaccine was available for my child and for all kids <5,” he tweeted earlier this week. “It would protect kids and help parents. Unfortunately more data is still needed from clinical trials for the FDA to make a full assessment. I know a safe, effective vaccine for <5s remains a top priority for them.”
The U.S. Surgeon General’s statements perfectly illustrate the idiotic logic of our public health officials and their COVID policy.
Children have statistically zero risk of severe COVID complications and experience symptoms no worse than sniffles.
Yet, Murthy wants to inject children under five years of age with an experimental shot that didn’t even prevent the illness and has unknown potential long-term side effects.
