Manhattan Judge Denies Emergency Order to Give Ivermectin to Hospitalized COVID-19 Patient

After a woman sued a hospital for not providing ivermectin for her gravely ill husband, a Manhattan judge has ruled NOT to force the hospital to provide the safe, effective treatment.

Court documents reportedly state Benjamin Chernyavsky has been on “death’s doorstep” since getting COVID-19 last month and Mount Sinai Hospital refused to treat him with ivermectin.

He contracted COVID-19 on January 9th, 2022, and was eventually placed on a ventilator, according to court documents.

Chernyavsky’s wife, Erika Quintero-Sherry, filed a lawsuit against Mount Sinai Hospital on January 26th hoping to acquire an emergency order to have Ivermectin given to her husband.

However, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Lynn Kotler denied the request to give her husband ivermectin.

The Gateway Pundit reported:

After hearing testimony from two Mt. Sinai doctors, Manhattan Supreme Court justice Lynn Kotler said she would not grant an emergency request to force Mt. Sinai to give Ivermectin to the deathly ill Covid patient based on Quintero-Sherry’s “paltry” evidence the treatment should be given against the recommendations from doctors.

The New York Post added:

“Plaintiff would have this court order defendants to administer an unapproved treatment to her husband against defendants’ medical opinion rendered in the independent exercise of their professional judgment,” Kotler’s Tuesday decision reads. “Indeed, the record reveals that if prescribed ivermectin, Mr. Chernyavsky’s condition may very well worsen.”

“The prevailing view in the medical community … is that ivermectin should not be prescribed,” Kotler said, noting that that is the opinion of the FDA, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and many other medical associations.

“Plaintiff’s paltry showing is insufficient to overcome the mountain of evidence showing that ivermectin is not presently safe or effective in the treatment of COVID-19,” Kotler wrote.

Kotler also noted testimony from a Mount Sinai doctor that Chernyavsky was likely no longer infected with COVID-19, but rather “now must recover from the effects the disease has had on his body and organs.”

While the judge did not grant the emergency motion, the rest of the case must still play out in court.

“Mount Sinai is committed to providing the highest quality care to all of our patients and uses evidence-based data in our clinical decision-making,” a hospital spokesperson said in a statement. “We are pleased with the judge’s decision to sustain the decisions of our clinicians to refrain from using ivermectin for treatment of COVID -19.”

Justice Lynn Cotler has sided with the corrupt, Big Pharma-sponsored medical gangsters of the FDA, CDC, and Mount Sinai Hospital.

The hospital has denied safe medication requested by a patient due to the disgusting censorship campaign waged by the medical establishment.

Mountains of data and real-world evidence has shown ivermectin to be effective against COVID-19 when used as an early treatment.

But it undercuts profits for the pharmaceutical companies due to its expired patent.

Big Pharma, hospital executives, and corrupt doctors would rather watch patients suffer on a ventilator than use the affordable off-label drug.

And as WLT reported, patients on their "death beds" sometimes recover after being administered ivermectin:

Justice Lynn Cotler had the opportunity to potentially save this man's life by forcing Mount Sinai to give him ivermectin.

However, she refused and sided with the medical establishment.
