Ksenija Vučić, Serbian Journalist and First Wife of Serbian President, Suddenly Dies of Alleged Blood Clot or Heart Failure

56-year-old Ksenija Vucic, a prominent Serbian journalist and the first wife of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, was laid to rest today at New Cemetery in Belgrade.

“Tonight in Belgrade, suddenly at the age of 56, Ksenija Vučić, the mother of our two children, Danilo and Milica, and my first wife, passed away,” Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced on his Instagram account.

Aleksandar Vučić stated that he would subsequently inform his family and friends about the place and date of the funeral.

Ksenija Vučić worked as a journalist for more than 30 years.

She started her career at TV Studio B, and in recent years she has hosted shows on TV Pink channels. She was the editor and director of the cable channel on RTV Pink and the author and host of the show “Pravac.”

Telegraf reported that the journalist suddenly died in her apartment due to either a blood clot or heart failure.

Her colleague added that she died suddenly in her apartment and that her son Danilo was with her at the time.

Ksenija passed away suddenly yesterday afternoon, she died in her apartment, her son Danilo was with her and that is really frightnening. soon as he heard about it, the president went to Ksenija Vucic’s home.An ambulance arrived in 6-7 minutes, they tried resuscitation for an hour, but unfortunately there was no success. the cause was, whether it was a blood clot or heart failure , “Vucicevic said.

According to a statement on her Twitter, Vučić had three doses of the Sinopharm COVID-19 jab.
