#ReleaseTheTranscript Tops Twitter After Ukrainian President Slams Biden Over Botched Call

If President Trump was impeached for a perfect phone call, then what will happen to Joe Biden?

#ReleaseTheTranscript SMASHED the trending topics chart on Twitter.

It quickly became the top story after the Ukrainian president slammed Biden for the botched phone call.

So what went so horribly wrong?

Well… we don’t know.

That’s why people are calling on the White House to #ReleaseTheTranscript.

Keep in mind, when President Trump’s phone call came into question, he released the transcript immediately.

Why?

Because he had nothing to hide.

So, if Biden has nothing to hide, why not release a transcript as well?!

More details below:

Finally, Republicans are standing together.

House Republicans have publicly demanded that Biden release the transcript.

But will he actually be transparent like he promised to be?

Newsweek confirms:

Republicans in the House of Representatives are calling on President Joe Biden to release the transcript of his call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about a possible Russian invasion of the country.

The demand comes after the White House and the Ukrainian government disputed a CNN report in which a senior Ukrainian official told the network the call “did not go well.”

The House Republican Conference pointed to a video of Biden’s remarks in 2019 calling on then President Donald Trump to release the transcript of a phone call he had with Zelensky.

The Twitter account for House Republicans sent a series of tweets on Thursday demanding that Biden release the transcript, as well as examples of Biden and other Democrats calling for the Trump-Zelensky transcript to be released in 2019.

“Biden MUST #ReleaseTheTranscript,” House Republicans wrote, retweeting a 2019 video of Representative Adam Schiff speaking to CNN’s Jake Tapper.

House Republicans also made reference to the CNN report that cited a senior Ukrainian official. The White House strongly disputed the report, saying anonymous sources were “leaking falsehoods.”

The account’s pinned tweet is currently a 2019 video of Biden calling for the release of the Trump-Zelensky transcript.

“I’m calling for the president to release the transcript of the call,” Biden said at the time. “Let everybody hear what it is. Let the House see it, and see what he did. That’s what I’m calling for.”

House Republicans wrote: “Now it’s your turn @JoeBiden. #ReleaseTheTranscript.”

In the middle of this crisis, do you know what the White House did?

They announced that Joe Biden has a cat.

We’re serious.

As the potential for war builds in the East, the White House wants us to talk about Biden’s cat.

Do they think we’re stupid?!

They even staged a photo shoot for the cat.

That’s your tax dollars at work, folks.

They had to take the time out of someone’s day to handle the cat, position it, and take glamorous pictures of it.

What a joke!

Of course, the government mouthpiece NPR gushed it is a “presidential looking” cat:

The Biden administration announced Friday that the first family has adopted a gray shorthair tabby cat named Willow.

First lady Jill Biden was apparently the driver behind the adoption after Willow interrupted a speech she was giving at a Pennsylvania farm during President Biden’s 2020 campaign.

“Willow made quite an impression on Dr. Biden in 2020 when she jumped up on the stage and interrupted her remarks during a campaign stop. Seeing their immediate bond, the owner of the farm knew that Willow belonged with Dr. Biden,” Michael LaRosa, the first lady’s spokesman, said in a news release.

NATIONAL POLL: Is CNN The Enemy Of The People?

The cat is named after the first lady’s hometown of Willow Grove, Pa. The cat will be the first to live in the White House since President George W. Bush and first lady Laura Bush’s black cat, India.

Last month, the Bidens welcomed Commander, a 4-month-old purebred German shepherd puppy. In June, the Bidens’ eldest dog, Champ, died. Meanwhile, Major, whom they adopted from an animal shelter in 2018, was rehomed after struggling to adapt to the busy White House environment.

Seriously, folks.

There’s one crisis after another.

And all the White House can do is talk about cats.

And they called Trump’s administration the “circus”?!
