AOC Tests Positive for COVID After Partying in Miami

According to a statement, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has tested positive for COVID-19.

This comes merely a week after AOC was caught partying in Miami, Florida.

After pictures of AOC and her boyfriend at a Miami bar without masks circulated the internet, she claimed that the criticism towards her was from republicans who wanted to date her.

AOC is said to be experiencing symptoms but recovering in her home.

She urged people on Twitter to get their booster shots.

She caught the virus in spite of receiving her booster shot in the Fall.

Fox News just broke the story:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a statement from her office on Sunday night.

Here are more details on AOC’s diagnosis from Daily Mail:

The Bronx Representative, 32, made the announcement on her official Twitter page Sunday night, sharing a statement on House of Representatives headed paper which said: ‘Representative Ocasio-Cortez has received a positive test result for COVID-19.

‘She is experiencing symptoms and is recovering at home. The Congresswoman received her booster shot this Fall, and encourages everyone to get their booster and follow all CDC guidance.’

AOC then added some of her own guidance in a follow-up tweet, writing: ‘For information on what to do if you’re exposed to COVID, test positive or want to schedule a test or vaccine in New York City — see our round-up of CDC and NYC resources here,’ before adding a link to a personal website.

AOC herself provided her own guidance for dealing with the virus following the announcement:

In all sincerity, we hope AOC recovers quickly.

Twitter hasn’t exactly been super kind to her following the announcement though:
