NYC Sees Record COVID Cases While AOC Parties in Miami

With record COVID cases being reported in AOC’s home state of New York, surely the democrat congresswoman has a plan on how to combat the virus?

Perhaps she does.

It will just have to wait until after her vacation beach party in Miami, Florida is over.

Of course, there is nothing wrong with congresswoman AOC wanting to celebrate the new year a little early.

After all, AOC will surely be following the same COVID precautions and guidelines she helped implement in New York.

… Right?

According to a recent article from our friends at Fox News, it would not appear so.

U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared to get an early start on New Year’s weekend Thursday, according to a report.

The New York Democrat was seen, maskless and drink in hand, as she dined outside in Miami Beach, Florida, the National Review reported. The congresswoman and a companion were spotted at Doraku Sushi and Izakaya, the report said.

The sighting quickly drew snarky reactions on social media.

Ocasio-Cortez’s pre-holiday trip came as her native New York City was dealing with a record number of first responders calling out sick heading into New Year’s Eve. More than 20% of the city’s police officers and 30% of paramedics were out sick Thursday, city officials said.

Surprising? Perhaps not.

Disgusting? Absolutely.

It is these mask and vaccine mandates implemented by AOC that caused many private businesses to flee New York – if they were lucky enough to do so before foreclosure.

Yet, AOC herself is able to have a great time partying in Miami while completely disregarding COVID.

Keep in mind, doing so while being in direct contradiction of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s (whom AOC demands people listen to regarding COVID information) orders to “skip New Year’s Eve parties” as reported in this recent Forbes article:

The larger a party is, the harder it is to control what happens there. You may not know everyone’s vaccination status. It may not be easy to maintain social distancing even if you eat a lot of beans or haven’t showered in months. Additionally, unless the party is in one of those Air Force wind tunnels used to airplane design, it will be difficult to maintain the ventilation and air filtration needed to clear the air of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Throw in the possibility that people may be inebriated and a New Year’s eve party may eventually become a super spreader event. And that’s not what’s meant when you try to have a super New Year’s Eve.

It’s okay Dr. Fauci – we’re not listening either.
