Let’s be honest: it was never a good idea in the first place.
Hospitals across the country fired thousands of nurses for refusing the vaccine.
Despite the fact that they were last year’s “heroes,” hospitals fired nurses if they didn’t obey the government’s mandates.
Now, as Omicron numbers are surging across the country, hospitals are BEGGING these same nurses to return to the workplace.

Oooohhh the irony!
Perhaps that’s proof that they should have never been fired in the first place!
Dozens of nurses have taken to social media to share stories of their hospitals begging them to return to work.

My friend is a nurse in Oregon. The local hospital fired 140+ nurses over vax mandates. So now they hire a bunch of traveling nurses to fill the positions, and guess what…. Travelers don't have to be vaccinated. 🤡🤡

It's almost like they fired hundreds and hundreds of nurses out of spite and rage and vengeance — but forgot that they actually need them.
Just like Alberta, where they're begging @AHS_media employees to come back, after slandering them and suspending them. https://t.co/D8n33N7C2d

Now they are begging them to come back to work because of the Omicron surge…

The media is finally picking up on this.
The Washington Post ran an article on healthcare worker SHORTAGES:
At the 390-bed Terrace View nursing home on the east side of Buffalo, 22 beds are shut down. There isn’t enough staff to care for a full house, safely or legally.
Nursing home bed and staff shortages were problems in the United States before the coronavirus pandemic. But the departure of 425,000 employees over the past two years has narrowed the bottleneck at nursing homes and other long-term care facilities at the same time that acute care hospitals are facing unending demand for services due to a persistent pandemic and staff shortages of their own.
Becker’s Hospital Review reveals that 16 states are CURRENTLY experiencing staff shortages at hospitals:
Sixteen states are experiencing critical staffing shortages in at least 25 percent of their hospitals, according to HHS data posted Dec. 28.
A critical staffing shortage is based on a facility’s needs and internal policies for staffing ratios, according to HHS. Hospitals using temporary staff to meet staffing ratios are not counted among those experiencing a shortage.
States in which at least 25 percent of hospitals are experiencing critical staffing shortages as of Dec. 28, listed in descending order:
1. New Mexico: 52.94 percent
2. Vermont: 47.06 percent
3. Rhode Island: 42.86 percent
4. South Carolina: 35.53 percent
5. West Virginia: 35.48 percent
6. Arizona: 33.67 percent
7. North Dakota: 33.33 percent
8. California: 32.44 percent
9. Kentucky: 31.73 percent
10. Wyoming: 31.03 percent
11. Wisconsin: 29.93 percent
12. Oklahoma: 28.68 percent
13. Colorado: 27.96 percent
14. Missouri: 27.35 percent
15. Georgia: 26.97 percent
16. Alabama: 26. 32 percent
To make matters worse, an ADDITIONAL 21 states are expected to have shortages as soon as next week.
Gee… it’s almost as though firing nurses over the unconstitutional vaccine mandate made things worse!

As they say…
Once you go woke, you go broke.
And it looks like our healthcare system is about to break for pandering to the radical left.
It truly is a sad situation.
