Actual crime waves are plaguing New York City.

Unfortunately for residents, “New York’s finest” are too busy arresting patrons of Burger King who don’t have their vaccine passports.

At least 5 people were arrested Monday night after a group of protestors refused to leave a local Burger King after they were refused service for not having vaccine passports.

Police showed up and protestors began chanting “Shame on you” towards them.

The 5 people arrested were charged with tresspasing and remaining unlawfully inside of the fast food restaurant.

In New York City, citizens are now required to show proof of vaccination in order to be allowed to eat indoors.

The city used to be a beacon of freedom.

Those days are long gone…

Rather than focus on actual crime, arresting Burger King patrons is apparently a top priority for the NYPD.

Here's more on the NYPD's screwed up priorities from the New York Post:

Five people were arrested after a group of protesters stormed a Burger King in New York on Monday night to protest the city’s COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

The mask-less protesters were filmed screaming at employees for refusing to serve them at the fast food restaurant in downtown Brooklyn around 7:30 p.m.

Cops said they were called in after the group repeatedly refused to leave.

The Big Apple’s vaccine mandate requires people to show proof of vaccination in order to eat indoors.
