14-Year-Old Shoots Would-Be Pizza Shop Robber in Face, Saves Mother’s Life

A 14-year-old boy took matters into his own hands after a would-be robber attempted to rob his parents’ pizza shop.

The armed male suspect entered the Philadelphia pizza shop at just before 10pm Thursday.

The man allegedly reached over the counter in an attempt to steal money from the register.

The boy’s mother attempted to stop him, but the suspect then began choking her.

That’s when the 14-year-old took action.

He grabbed his father’s legally owned gun from behind the counter, and shot the suspect in the face.

The man then fled, but was picked up by police soon after.

The suspect is in critical condition.
