Navy Commander Fired After Refusing COVID Vaccine

It is sad how the Biden Administration has turned its back on the men and women who serve this country with dignity and honor.

The very people who sacrifice day in, and day out, are now subject to termination from their positions because of their refusal to take an experimental injection.

The latest victim of the administration is Navy Commander Lucian Kins.

Commander Kins was second-in-command aboard the USS Winston Churchill before his religious exemption and subsequent appeal were both denied.

A Navy spokesman said that Commander Kins’ dismissal was “due to loss of confidence.”

The New York Post has more on Commander Lucian Kins being relieved of duty due to his religious views:

Commander Lucian Kins, the number-two officer on the Arleigh Burke-class USS Winston Churchill, had applied for a religious exemption to the mandate, Fox News reported, but the request and his subsequent appeal were both denied.

Navy spokesman LCDR Jason S. Fischer claimed that Kins was relieved of duty “due to loss of confidence” in his ability to perform his duties.

Stars and Stripes with more on Commander Kins' termination:

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss personnel issues. One official said Kins has requested a religious exemption, which was denied. Kins is appealing that denial.

The Pentagon has made the vaccine mandatory for all service members, and Navy personnel had until late November to get their shots or request exemptions. Thousands of service members have asked for religious exemptions, but so far none of the military services have approved one.

Fischer said Kins has been reassigned to the staff of Naval Surface Squadron 14.

Naturally, many of the leftist sheep on social media took the opportunity to pile on Commander Kins by dragging his name through the mud.

However, there are plenty who understand and respect Kins' decision.

A real man stands up for what he believes is right, even in the face of overwhelming adversity.

God Bless Commander Lucian Kins for being strong enough to take a stand.
