Dr. Oz Suggests Dr. Fauci Resign for “Misleading” Americans on COVID

A war of words may be breaking out between two of the most public doctors in the country.

In one corner you have Dr. Oz, who was once universally loved by the left-wing, until they realized that he didn’t agree with them on every issue.

In the other corner you have America’s most untrusted doctor, Anthony Fauci, who can’t seem to maintain any form of consistancy with his own beliefs on COVID-19.

The former is now calling the latter out.

Dr. Oz recently targeted Fauci via a statement to the New York Post, where he said that Fauci needs to be “held accountable” for misleading the American people on COVID.

Oz claimed that Americans have lost “faith and confidence” in Fauci, and suggested it was time for a new face to talk to the American people about COVID, “one that is more trusted.”

Fox News has more from Dr. Oz and his belief that Fauci should resign:

"Dr. Anthony Fauci has lost the faith and confidence of the American people," Oz said. "It’s time for a new face talking to the American people, one that is more trusted."

Oz also stated he believes Fauci "should be held accountable for misleading, whether willfully or unintentionally, the American public and the United States Congress" on matters relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our friends at the New York Post with more on Dr. Oz's comments about Fauci:

“I believe Anthony Fauci should be held accountable for misleading, whether willfully or unintentionally, the American public and the United States Congress,” Oz added.

Oz threw his hat into the Pennsylvania GOP Senate race last week, looking to fill the seat being vacated by retiring Republican incumbent Sen. Pat Toomey. David McCormick, a hedge fund CEO, is also eyeing a run. Scott Parnell, a Trump-endorsed candidate, dropped out of the race in November.

Fauci has come under growing fire in conservative circles after telling Congress that the National Institutes of Health — his parent organization — had not funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. The NIH later corrected Fauci. Many experts believe coronavirus originated at the institute.

Fauci has done nothing but drive a wedge between the medical community and the American people with his inconsistency on COVID.

The only thing consistent with his message is that Americans shoud blindly listen to him:
