Will a New Austrian Law Be Used To Imprison Unvaccinated At Own Expense?

Last month, Austria announced a national 20-day lockdown for all residents regardless of vaccination status.

The country also mandated COVID-19 jabs by February 1, 2022.

We learned this week that Austria plans to implement mandatory COVID-19 jabs with significant unlimited fines and possible separate “unvaccinated” prison time.

The mandatory COVID-19 vaccine plan is for people 14 and older.

Susanne Fürst of the Austrian Freedom Party (FPÖ) raised awareness that an amendment to the Administrative Enforcement Act could be used to imprison the unvaccinated for up to a year.

The new amendment will raise fines from  €726 (£617/$818) to €2,000 (£1,701/$2,255).

The amendment also states that the costs for detention can be recovered from the courts.

Austria does not ask pedophiles or murderers to pay the cost of their prison time.

However, if you live in Austria and are jailed for being unvaccinated, you must pay for your incarceration.

Additionally, prison time for the unvaccinated non-compliant increased from four weeks to up to a year.

If you refuse to pay the fines and are thrown in prison for a year, it is a special prison for the unvaccinated.

There’s no limit on the amount of tyranny Austria is willing to flex.

You can get fined more than once a day if you’re unvaccinated, too!

Ms. Fürst’s opposition was ignored, and all parties passed the motion to amend the Administrative Enforcement Act except the FPÖ.

Breitbart has more:

Susanne Fürst of the FPÖ fears that an amendment to the Administrative Enforcement Act could be used to enforce the proposed mandatory coronavirus vaccination policy against the unvaccinated.

The new amendment would raise fines from €726 (£617/$818) to €2,000 (£1,701/$2,255) and would also increase prison time for refuseniks from just four weeks to up to a year in prison.

Those jailed may also be ordered to pay for their own imprisonment under the new amendment, which states: “If detention is carried out by the courts, the associated costs shall be recovered by the courts from the obligated party in accordance with the provisions existing for the recovery of the costs of enforcing judicial penalties.”

While the amendment makes no specific mention of the Wuhan virus or the mandatory vaccine policy, Ms Fürst expressed concern that it would be used on those who do not take the vaccine and said such a policy should be ruled out.

Constitutional Minister Caroline Edtstadler, meanwhile, stated that there was a political consensus on the issue and that while the government desired to persuade people to take the vaccine, the possibility of punishment must exist to preserve the credibility of the legal system.

The minister for constitutional affairs, Karoline Edtstadler, has stated that the government does not want to “punish” people who are not vaccinated.

Edtstadler insists they are working to “win” people over and convince them to get the COVID-19 jab.

In Austria, it appears “winning” people over is akin to forcing people into compliance.

Quarterly COVID-19 vaccination deadlines must be met.

Authorities will check a central vaccination register to see who from the general public is on it.

Many reports claim that anti-vax Austrians have been encouraged by the “far-right” Freedom Party.

Yahoo News has more:

Roughly 68% of Austria’s population is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, one of the lowest rates in western Europe. Many Austrians are skeptical about vaccines, a view encouraged by the far-right Freedom Party, the third biggest in parliament.

As infections set records three weeks ago, the government announced a fourth national lockdown and said it would make vaccinations compulsory for all, the first European Union country to do so.

“We do not want to punish people who are not vaccinated. We want to win them over and convince them to get vaccinated,” the minister for constitutional affairs, Karoline Edtstadler, told a news conference with Health Minister Wolfgang Mueckstein.

The vaccine mandate, which must be approved by parliament, is due to start in February and last through January 2024. Two opposition parties support it, suggesting it will pass easily.

There will be quarterly vaccination deadlines, Mueckstein said, adding that the authorities will check a central vaccination register to see if members of the public are in it.

Austria is leading the way with draconian mandates and Communist-style compliance.

How does Austria justify making the unvaccinated pay for jail time when the government covers murderers?

Imposing restrictions on bodily autonomy is a slippery slope.

We only need to look at history to see where this can lead.

Austrians have been outspoken, taking to the streets to oppose Fascism and all government overreach.

Unfortunately, Austria and the Deep State seem determined to repeat the evils of history.

If a government can boldly imprison innocent citizens for refusing a medical procedure, there’s no stopping the tyranny possible.
