The democrats have been embroiled in quite the mess as they continue to debate upon their new spending bill.
Democrat senators Joe Manchin (WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (AZ) are still locked in a stalemate with the rest of the party as they refuse to vote on the bill.
Now representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) is also threatening to vote against it.
Nancy Pelosi continues to tout the “framework” of the democrat bill, despite having next to nothing to show for it, a fact that Senator John Kennedy mocked while speaking on On “The Faulkner Focus.”
Kennedy claims the democrats are planning a “class warfare” tax policy that will destroy small businesses.
He also stated that the democrat party is in “total disarray” over the bill.
Here's what Senator Kennedy had to say according to Breitbart:
Kennedy told Fox News Channel’s “The Faulkner Focus” that “the Democrats are pretty much in total disarray” as they debate aspects of the spending bill.
“[H]ere is what I’ve observed: The Democrats are pretty much in total disarray. President Biden is sort of like Kevin Bacon at the end of ‘Animal House’ when people are stampeding him, and he is saying, calm down, be calm, everything is under control. They say they have a framework. Now, to me, a framework is when your car has two wheels down, its axle dragging, you are in the ditch, and don’t have any help, and you tell your spouse, ‘Honey, I have a framework to get us out of this ditch.’ And I think that’s where we are based on the little I’ve seen of the framework.”
Nancy Pelosi attempted to alleviate any concerns that the democrats were in disarray, after previously telling her caucus that the bills needed to be passed in order to avoid embarrassing Joe Biden.
Here's more on her efforts from Town Hall:
Speaking to reporters in her weekly press conference, Pelosi touted the framework for Democrats' budget saying that any program in the agreed-to framework would be "historic" on its own but that taken as a whole the plan is "transformative" and on the same level as FDR's agenda. Of course, the New Deal actually passed and became law, an ending that's not certain for Biden's budget.
"The text is there" she said even though the text that was released is not the bill's final language, adding that now Democrats can "complain about" what is and isn't in it. "I have respect for all of our members" Pelosi said, claiming to "welcome" changes but insisting Democrats are "very much on a path" to passage with "agreement on most" of the items in the framework. "We are within range," she said perhaps overemphasizing her wishful thinking.
Pelosi again touts the democrat "framework" for their spending bill
I think Nancvy Pelosi is trying to convince herself that she knows what she's doing..
Nancy Pelosi is in so much disarray, she even forgot her precious mask
Make no mistake about it.
The democrat party is in disarray, which is something everyone can clearly see to be true.
