WATCH: Southwest Employees Are RISING UP!

I have read a lot of business books….

Anyone who has likewise read the same books understands that Southwest Airlines is by and large considered a shining example of proper management in many business books.

They’re also consistently cited as the airline of the people—an enterprise that embodies the hard working, hard playing, and laid back spirit of The American people.

Which is why I was shocked when they caved into Biden’s vaccine mandate.

What happened next was an incredible show of organized pushback and solidarity—roughly 1,800 Southwest flights were cancelled in just one day…

Southwest employees stuck true to their corporate culture, and their code, by standing up for the personal choice and bodily autonomy of their fellow co-workers and pilots.

I will personally be boycotting Southwest, in solidarity with Southwest employees, until the C.E.O. grows a spine and stands up for his workers, as well as the American way……I will be flying Delta Airlines instead.

Check out the continued resistance against tyranny by Southwest’s courageous employees:

Becker News shares this quote from one Southwest pilot:

“Consider the argument they’re hearing from Joe Biden: You must get the shot for the sake of people who’ve already gotten the shot because the shots don’t work well enough to protect the people who’ve already gotten them,” he continued.

“That’s what Joe Biden and the entire American health establishment is telling them. So imagine making that argument to an airline pilot, someone whose entire job is based on logic. It is utterly bewildering to them, because it doesn’t make sense. It’s just too unreasonable.”

Southwest’s pilots’ union has asked the court to delay the mandate according to Fox Business:

The Southwest Airlines Pilots Association (SWAPA) has asked a federal court in Texas for a temporary restraining order to prevent the airline from implementing its COVID-19 vaccine mandate for employees on Nov. 24.

SWAPA, which represents approximately 9,000 Southwest Airlines pilots, filed a lawsuit on Aug. 30, claiming that Southwest has made unilateral changes that violate the “status quo” provision of the the Railway Labor Act (RLA), which governs relations between airlines and unions, by not maintaining terms of an existing contract during negotiations.
