Former Obama Defense Secretary Says Biden has Gotten “A Lot Wrong,” Says “Trump Got it Right” on China

Robert Gates said that Biden "has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the last four decades."

We all know what an utter failure Joe Biden has been since January.

In fact, most of us know that Joe Biden has been an utter failure for his entire career in politics.

This is doubly true in regards to his history on foreign poilicy.

Even Barack Obama’s own former Defense Secretary is speaking out publicly on those failures.

Robert Gates, who last served as Secretary of Defense to former president Obama before retiring in 2011, criticized Biden for four decades of poor foreign policy.

Gates specified that Biden had gotten “a lot wrong,” specifically with China, while also pointing out that President Trump “got it right” on China.

The Daily Wire has more on Gates' statement about Biden's foreign policy failures:

Robert Gates, former President Barack Obama’s secretary of defense, slammed President Joe Biden during an interview that aired on Sunday, and praised former President Donald Trump when it came to foreign policy.

Gates made the remarks during an interview on CBS News’ “60 Minutes” with co-host Anderson Cooper, saying Biden has “gotten a lot wrong.”

“He opposed every one of Ronald Reagan’s military programs to contest the Soviet Union,” Gates said. “He opposed the first Gulf War. That list goes on. Now I will say that in the Obama administration, he and I obviously had significant differences over Afghanistan.”

Here's part of the interview from "60 Minutes:"

Here's the Washington Examiner with more details on Gates' assessment of Biden, including Gates' reaction to the Afghanistan withdrawal in August, which he claimed made him sick:

Former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates said he was sickened by how the Afghan withdrawal occurred.

Gates, who served as the chief of the Department of Defense from 2006-2011 during parts of the Afghan and Iraq wars, characterized the withdrawal as “really tough,” in an interview with 60 Minutes that has yet to air.

“For a few days there, I actually wasn’t feeling well,” he said. “And I realized it was because of what was happening in Kabul, and I was just so low about the way it had ended, if you will.”

Everyone is noticing that Joe Biden's foreign policies are the worst in recent history.
